Buy it now .it even removes red and any build up .
Im not usually a reviewer lol ,,but this stuff worked perfectly..im a natural red head and at my age I use a light auburn close to my natural colour to keep my colour fresh, how ever I had accidentally picked up medium auburn red.and it turned my hair a dark red purple colour i hated it . Bought this and its removed all the red and some colour build up that id previously had . Im now going to use this one every 6 months to strip out any build up .... and to make it even better my hair is lovely and soft . Great for a woman my age . 41. X

Great results even with user error – see before and after
I used Malibu CPR to lift out a deep cherry red (see second photo). It worked really well, even though I made a few mistakes on my end. I only used two packets when I should’ve used three for my thick, short hair. On top of that, I wasn’t patient enough to apply it properly to every section – I kind of rushed through it instead of saturating each strand like you should. Despite that, it still managed to lift a lot of the red and left me with a warm coppery tone (see first photo). My hair feels soft, not damaged at all, and now I’ve got a perfect base for going strawberry blonde. If you have stubborn color or thick hair, definitely take your time and don’t skimp on product. But overall, Malibu CPR did what it said it would. I’ll be using it again the right way next time!

Not great for purple
Unfortunately this didn't work for me. I understand each case depends on various factors, such as your hair condition, how long have you had a specific colour for and what colour are you and expecting. I have an amethyst purple one side of my head and wanted to lift the red tones so I could go over it with a blue to match my other side to me it just didn't make a dent. I followed the instructions to a tee I was hoping to see some difference making it less jewel toned but alas. Oh and for reference I'd been purple for years so appreciate there will be a lot of build up

It worked perfectly
I wanted something gentle to remove brown hair dye that turned out more black then brown. This worked perfectly and along with the Malibu C shampoo. My end result after 2 rounds of the Malibu C CPR was 2-3 shades lighter, bringing my hair back to a dark brown from black. My hair was a little dry afterwards but a deep condition helped with this. Much better than my other option of a bleach bath.

Blown away
I do not normally leave a review but I just had to. I'm so so happy with the results. I used a horrible dark brown box dye which turned my hair jet black. I used a colour remover a month ago and the results were really poor and the smell was awful which lingered for weeks. I used this today and I'm blown away by how well it has worked. My hair is much lighter. It had blonde streaks prior to the black dye which I can now see again. My hair is also really soft which is a bonus as I have dry frizzy hair as standard so was worried it would make it worse but it's actually better than before if that's even possible. I initially washed my hair in green magnum dish soap as it strips the hair. Applied this by leaving a little gap for the root and then wrapped my hair in clingfilm and used a hood attachment on the hair dryer and sat for 30 minutes. Then used my fingers to squeeze the excess out. Washed again twice with dish soap and really scrubbed it. Really do recommend. If you follow the process on the back of the sachet you can't go wrong. I don't know if I got a better result because I used dish soap? But for the price it's worth a go!

For me, the results are subtle but effective
I’m trying to get back to my natural medium brown colour. About a year ago I went blonde and hated it so I toned it darker but it went black for some reason, even thought it was just a no lift toner! This is slowly washing it out. I’ve noticed when you shampoo it even a week or so after using it, there’s colour washing down the sink. So the results are ongoing. I much prefer this to colour removers that STINK. This has no smell

It works
I dyed my hair medium brown and it went literally black to my horror. I purchased this and the shampoo as it's pointless if you don't have that and also the conditioner as again you need to prevent dryness. And the shampoo you need to wash after at least 3 times and scrub into the hair to aid the removal of colour. I made up the product as described and lathered on my hair. I used a tinfoil shower cap and a heated pad on my head. I waited the whole 45 mins due to the darkness that I had to lift. I used the Malibu C Un-Do-Goo Clarifying Shampoo 4 times. It lifted my colour back to medium brown which is what I wanted. I got a lighter brown and dyed it the next day. In all It actually worked to my surprise. I deffo needed the conditioner as my hair was a bit dry.

Effective when used correctly
This took so much dark hair dye out of my hair the second time I used it correctly. It works best with the same brands clarifying shampoo, shampoo your hair 2x with this before applying the colour remover then flat wrap hair around head and cover with a shower cap. I used a hairdryer to apply heat for the full 45mins then shampooed 3x really scrubbing my hair and it faded so much colour. Not as effective as a bleach bath but this doesn’t lighten roots or damage my hair so it’s a much better option.
