Italian Greyhounds are, like Greyhounds, a short-haired breed that doesn't require much coat care. Still, brushing is always good for limiting dander and for blood circulation to promote healthy skin.Most professionals who show and breed IG's use hound gloves, which are basically oven mitts with soft brush bristles attached, but they are expensive. My dogs are strictly pets, but I know that professionals often use particular stuff for a reason. Before I found this brush I had not found anything that was as good for their coats. Regular dog brushes were far too hard and cat brushes were far too soft.The size isn't a problem, either. Yes, it's big, but I found that to be a plus instead of a minus, even with a toy dog.

This brush is really nice for our dog. She has short hair, and she sheds, so it helps keeping it under control. The bristles are also soft enough that it doesn't hurt her. She scratches a lot because of dry skin and I read if you bath them too often it can dry out their skin even more. So instead we brush her more to distribute her natural oils throughout her coat and it does seem to help. The brush also makes her feel super soft. This isn't for a dog with long hair. Perfect for short hair dogs.

I bought this brush thinking it would be a lot smaller because my dog is a min pin, but it actually works great! I get her whole coat in just one swipe! I know this is used for horses but it can be used on dogs too :) I love it! Her coat has improved in shine and luster in just one week!!! She falls asleep every time I brush her with this. I would recommend this brush for any animal with a short haired coat.

I personally love this soft brush I use it for horses and it works very well as a face brush or a finishing brush.

The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the bristle's are a little short so while gromming my fngers gripping the brush tickle her.

I liked it but in the pic the bricles are long but when I got it they were so short

I actually use this brush to comb out my Greyhound. Her fur is very short and her skin is sensitive. This brush is firm but gentle enough to clean her off before I take her out in public.

i loooove this brush. It brings out the shine in his coat and is easy to use with the way the top is shaoed and is much more comfortable to use than your standard brushes. my one and only problem with this brush is that (i dont know if it's just me) the bristles tend to fall out alot! BUT, overall i would recomend to anyone. :)
