Different kind of nipple shield
The first thing I thought when I took the shield out of the box was that it was HUGE. It covers a lot more breast than any other shield I've ever seen/used and also protrudes out like a bottle nipple. My daughter is 4 weeks and has a hard time latching to me, but had no problem latching to this shield. I also feel that this shield is a bit more forgiving since it suctions on better than my other shields (Medela & Lansinoh) so positioning isn't as big an issue. Also, it stays on pretty well even when my daughter unlatches and moves her head. I can also see the milk in the shield since it protrudes so much. Hardly any of my nipple is actually in her mouth while using this shield so I can see how it could be used to help rest the nipple if it's super sore or when the teeth come in. It does take a little while for the milk to reach the tip of the nipple once I have let down, but so far, my daughter is OK with it. I also appreciate that it's thicker and bulkier. With my other shields, they're so thin and transparent that they disappear in water and I'm always afraid I'm going to lose it when I wash it. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this shield and I tend to prefer it to my other ones.

They WORK!!!!
I was skeptical at first about this Nipple shield but my daughter didn’t think twice! She is tongue-tied and has difficulty latching onto my natural nipple. I put the nipple shield on & BOOM, She latched right on, no questions. She nursed til she was satisfied. Great quality silicone. It’s thick and well made. P

Did not work for me, but might work for a different nipple shape
I really wanted to love this but the way that it’s currently shaped makes breast-feeding. Painful after about six minutes. I think it very much depends on the shape of your nipple and whether or not it is elastic or not. It’s definitely worth trying for everyone.

Tongue tie latch aid that works
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought for my daughter who’s newborn is tongue tied and her nipples are cracked and sore. Functionality:While these provide immediate relief the milk is not drawn down the breast like a pump or the hospital type of guards. This means that the supply is not “remembered” by your body. If you are suffering from low production of milk, talk to your lactation specialist about the use of these. They are not meant to be a long term shield solution on their own. Nice but..
Is nice and feels like a bottle nipple but it folds inside when the baby is sucking and it makes the baby swallow lots of air so I decided not to use.

Comfortable, Strong stick
The sheild stuck really well and didn’t move once on from baby hitting or pulling at it. It was also easy for baby to latch on. My milk supply doesn’t flow as strong and so it didn’t work for me. Baby would get frustrated as he would have to really suck and suck to fill up the shield to get any milk. He also is several inches away from my breast and I like the closeness that breastfeeding has to offer. If you have a strong milk supply, this might be the product for you.

Great quality, but not for me
I will start by saying that my baby was born at 32.5 weeks, so she spent a few weeks in the NICU. At first she was tube fed, then transitioned to bottles. Once we were home I was able to breastfeed more, but she was used to a bottle nipple and had trouble latching to my Medela nipple shield. This shield was a life saver at first. It is great quality and stays in better than the Medela shield. My baby latched very well, but she easily collapsed the nipple which caused my nipple to get pulled up into the shield and pinched, which was pretty painful. This was just my experience! I have heard many success stories using this brand.
