I suppose it could be done with a little ingenuity and cobbling, but you don’t have everything you need in this kit to do it. This kit is made for mounting a set of antlers that are attached to a skullcap. There was an instructional DVD included. But it did not address in anyway how to mount a set of shed antlers. I called the company that makes them and they tried to be helpful but he told me the best way to mount a set of shed antlers was to cut another skullcap off of a dead head, then attach the shed antlers to that skullcap, and then mount that skullcap to this imitation deer head. Only problem is I don’t have a deer skull to cut a cap of of. And if I did, It would seem to me that it would be a pain in the butt to try to attach a set of shed antlers to a real skullcap. For 130 bucks I assumed I was getting everything I needed to complete this little project. Very disappointed. Will be sending this back to Amazon. A shame really, this concept is cool but the reality is that it’s not really made for shed antlers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can say that I like this alternative mount very much *by A***0 on Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2016* I got my first deer/first buck 3 years ago, and I have had it European mounted since. I have thought of doing a shoulder mount for it, but I don't have the hide. Then I came across Camo Buck mount and decided to give it a try. With the final result of my buck, I can say that I like this alternative mount very much.The process of mounting is simple, but you have to take time. For example, cuting the skull plate of your deer has to be done with no rush. Also the plastice skull plate cover they provided, you also need to take time. The final product of my buck is attached with the review.(Edit on 6/23/2017: another mount with a dead head I found) ### ⭐⭐⭐ Goes together just like they show in the videos *by W***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2017* Had a decent set of antlers just setting around and wanted a unique way to display them. Goes together just like they show in the videos. The cap is not nearly as easy to make fit as they make it look. The videos make it look like a dixi cup kind of plastic but it's a harder plastic than that. The fact that it's already molded makes it extremely hard to cut with out cracking it past where you need it to be cut, and in doing so chipping some of the camo off. You have to take your time with it. I started with scissors and it was too uncontrollable so I switched to dikes. Also, there's about a 1/4" gap between the top of the head and where the cap starts so you can see the skull (used magic marker to help hide it) you can only tell if you get up close.
