I have sensitive skin and this works amazing also it’s my go to makeup base I am almost 50 years old and it makes my makeup go on flawless without settling in wrinkles I just love it.

For years, a powder sunblock was my go-to for arms, decolletage, and hands. It was effective, but the powder fallout was pretty messy. Fallout on dark-colored clothes would always be visible. For this reason alone, I wanted to try something I hoped would be less messy while still giving me great protection. This product fits the bill. It provides necessary protection, it glides on dry without leaving a mess, and it is easy to pack in a bag. I don't use this product under makeup, but I think you could. It applies a thin, smooth layer that dries colorless. Although I don't wear it beneath makeup, I have used it on top of makeup when I felt I needed a top up. It did not disturb my makeup, although I sort of tapped it on instead of swiping it on. I will re-purchase.

Does feel waxy and heavy so not great with makeup, but over makeup in extreme sunny conditions like golf makes sense. Love that I can apply and my hands stay clean. Works great as sun protection on face and back of hands and wrists because it does not run. I do not like that I cannot dispense all the product. I like that it is purse sized.

This is a mineral sunscreen that I use mostly on my face under makeup, though I also use it to cover my butterfly tattoo to prevent color loss if I'm out in the sun. It leaves a faint white cast, but it rubs in easily. This is the only sunscreen I've tried on my face that doesn't make my eyes sting all day. Other sunscreens that I've used on my face have migrated down my forehead on hot days and/or when I'm sweating - and I don't have air conditioning at work so it's a common issue for me. When I have gotten other sunscreen products in my eyes I felt like my eyeballs were on fire for the rest of the day! (That's also a problem for my eye makeup because I end up tearing up and smearing everything - even waterproof eye makeup - and I know it's not an issue with my makeup because other sunscreen products have caused irritation even when I'm not wearing makeup.) This is the only product I've tried that hasn't ever irritated my eyes. Every time I've tried a different sunscreen for my face I've ended up going back to this one. I've been using MDSolarSciences Mineral SunScreen Stick SPF 40 daily on my face for years without any tears, eye irritation - or sunburn.

I have been using it so I don't waste my money, however, I didn't like this sunscreen at all. There is hardly any color to it, so it doesn't give any coverage. It is super super oily. Also, it is too little for the price tag.

Doesn't leave you feeling too greasy. Doesn't run in your eyes. Great sunscreen for on the go. Throw it in your pocket or purse and roll it on without that gross sunscreen feel. Good tattoo protection.

This is a great, portable sunscreen. it goes on pretty sheer for a mineral sunscreen. It doesn’t irritate my skin. And this might sound silly, but I love that top CLICKS on and STAYS on. Anyone who has had sunscreens, lotions, or lipsticks open in their bag will understand this. I keep one of these sticks in my purse for touch ups or for when I end up outside when not expecting to. Great product.

It's very small but that's not the issue, the description says it's matte and tinted but it very greasy and transparent, no color! Waste of money!

It's too creamy and doesn't blend well. I don't like the way it kinda leaves an uneven tint.

have a white cast on an nc40 medium skin tone even after rubbing in.

I am brown and have combination skin, and I was looking for a non-greasy sunscreen that I could use to reapply, except that it has a very noticeable white cast I don't really have other major issues with it. The greasiness I was experiencing could be due to the fact that I was wearing a mask the whole time, however, my other sunscreen doesn't seem to do this.
