Ignored the age certificate because it was probably there for emotional scenes of love and loss. Like the land before time. I f***ed up. This is not a kids program. I left them to it until I walked in on the scene where a little girl is turned to goo. Watching back on it, it has nutidy too! It turned out to be a great watch! A must buy title
Made in Abyss was a title I was drawn to via the artwork I saw in a Anime magazine and after reading various reviews on several sites I decided to buy it. I was really glad I did, as it was/is one of the best Anime series I have seen in a long time. The story is unfolds at a nice pace as we follow our two lead characters as they journey down into the abyss and learn more & more about their back-stories and reasons for their grand adventure. The Blu-ray transfer looked crisp and sharp on my TV and the music is some of the best to be heard on any series. All in all I would highly recommend this series - even though it does end without concluding (but I heard a full length movie is coming out in 2020 that should finish the story). Made in Abyss is a much buy!
