Having lost a lot of hair recently and not much to put up this has given me more confidence. I chose dark brown and feel it’s a great match. Could he fuller but still love it!

The only reason I didn't give 4 stars is because the "hole" that goes over your own hair is so large. My own hair is past my shoulders and pretty thick, but even so the scrunchie was way too big to just pop over my own bun and stay there. I tried twisting it as other people are doing, but as it is such lovely real hair, I really didn't want to spoil it. But I did twist it, and then it fitted securely, but didn't look so perfect. It just looked "too" messy. So I tried a few things, ways of increasing the width of my own topknot, tried several things. The best one was putting a black velvet scrunchie over my own bun( a smallish, tight fitting one), then I just popped the hair bun on top of that and it felt great. Very secure. I could use a black one as my own hair and the hair scrunchie are both very dark. In fact I had chosen one shade too light, #4 ....it looked near enough to wear and I don't think anyone would have questioned it at all, but being a bit of a perfectionist, I have ordered another darker one, #2....arriving tomorrow. These real hair buns arrive beautifully packaged in hairnet, plastic sealed bag and very nice box. As for size, it's plenty to give a nice size wavy/curvy beautiful bun, but if you want a big bun, this isn't it.To research these hair scrunchies properly, I also ordered 2 more different fake hair buns. Which I will also review elsewhere. Ive had a quick look at them, not tried on yet but have to say they look good. Even though not real hair. *** update on this. I have now received the slightly darker shade #2 and it is absolutely a perfect match. Im thrilled with it. Furthermore, this one had a centre "hole" that was smaller and fitted snugly over my own bun. So I have upgraded this to 5 stars. The same people Barsdar do an excellent synthetic messy bun. Ive bought that too. Colour and fit are perfect. Its just a tiny bit heavier to wear, but looks great. I have left a full review for that one, plus 2 photos.

I am blown away!! Tried all ways to get one of these in my colour but no chance, so I took a risk, bought the blonde one and dyed it myself!!! Perfect match so will be getting another one too x

It is a medium sized scrunchie made of human hair attached to a thick elasticized band. The whole thing was too bulky to fix comfortably. If you twist it round your hair like a scrunchie, it looks terrible and is lumpy. The only way was to pin it into my hair and then it dragged due to gravity. Not really wearable if you have fine silky hair as it will not hold and you would not need it if you have thick hair. I tried wearing it right on top of my head and that worked and did not drag, but I did not want it right on top, defeated the object really. I lost a lot of hair due to Covid but this was not the answer, I think I would rather just deal with the hair I have left.

It doesn't look synthetic but does not behave like real hair so ends up looking a mess - purchased one to dye the same colour as my hair but could not restore the look of it so I had to bin it - purchased another and dyed my hair to match the scrunchie but it just looked fake and didn't stay on very well. The hair doesn't hang/fall the way real hair does. It might look better attached to thicker hair or a long ponytail but the whole point in buying it was because my hair is short - wasted £26 on two

My mum loves it ! To add a little bit more height it's very soft to touch. Not as much fullness as some weve had but it works

This thing is amazing - it’s basically a human hair extension sort of wrapped around a thick elastic band. So you don’t get that shiny faux hair look. I dyed it at the same time I dyed my own hair to get the colour exact. Then just lightly blow dried it and let it air dry. You could make this as neat or messy as you like by fiddling around with it. Very happy with this.

Product matches my hair really well I went for brown , it twists round twice nicely lots of people thought it was my own hair !
