I really like this bowl. It's bigger than I expected. The extra room allows me to really whip up a thick, creamy lather without making a mess.

It’s a shaving bowl good quality no complaints

Bought this based on the reviews. It is nice looking and sturdy. I've never had a shaving soap container with a lid. I'm hoping it preserves the soap better. My Taylor Sandalwood soap container fit nicely inside. It will need to be wiped down after shaving, otherwise it will be fairly smudged up. I am happy with it.

Perfect size for the slightly larger 4.4 shaving soap puck. The picture is with Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap refill puck. It's a double walled bowl so it has a little bit of heft to it and along with the lid it'll hold a little heat if you bloom your puck. I like the wall height doesn't really bang on my brush too much but it's not so short that I get splash. It's not super heavy like ceramic bowls but once you put soap in it it feels formidable. I like that I can bang it around or if I drop it it won't break or crack the tile on the floor. I replaced a very nice Viking shave bowl with this only because I wanted to get a lid I'm happy with this replacement. One last note is it is kind of a brushed stainless so it does have a little bit of texture which helps foaming.

It is a game changer for the new magic shaving powder in the gold colours. Tjis bowl allows you to mix the white powder 20 times faster than a makeshift jar top tjst worked for the magic regular or extra strength varieties its also very easy to clean.

These two products are practical and adaptable for travel.

Comfortable in your hand (unless you have small hands), Double walled to hold heat, large enough to hold a puck, warm your brush and hold a lot of lather. I needed the lid for travel but it also holds the bowl nicely, be aware it fits loosely. Excellent shave bowl!

The description matches the product. The lid fits very snug but of course it’s not waterproof. It’s not so sug that it jams. It’s just very well milled. If you love stainless steel, this is very slick looking on your shelf. And it hides your shaving soap, and protects it from dust.

I chose it for the design. I'm told it looks quite fancy but I find it very functional.

Well made. Could be better insulated as it cools very quickly. I filled it with very hot water after rinsing the outside with hot water as well. I let it sit, filled for a few minutes and it stayed warm for about a minute while in use (brush and lather). The lid could be more secure. All this said, it’s well made at the price paid.

I've been trying different soaps and needed an extra dish. I found one of the soups disagreeable and replaced it with another. The dish cleans up quickly and easily, works well for me.
