Warm and waterproof
First I'll let you know....I have never left a review on Amazon but these pants deserved one! They fit more like a yoga plant than your traditional snow pants though considerably less stretchy. The shell is not only waterproof but also durable with reinforced panels at the knees and a stretchy waist band. I have a smaller waist with a big booty so I really appreciate this feature. The fleece liner kept my legs warm at 10-20° with heavy winds....I kid you not, I was grateful that I couldn't for another layer underneath as it would have been too warm! This leads me to my only complaint (and a negligible one at that)- the legs are snug so if you have athletic thighs, be prepared to size up or have that skinny jeans feel. I opted to stick with the size I ordered because they are so cozy! Also note that the cuffs are not wide enough or zippered to fit over a boot which I remedied by wearing gators to hike and I added my own belt as I prefer one more heavy duty than what was included. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great winter hiking pant!

Loved my purchase!
I purchased a large. I am 5’2 and weigh 175-180. I typically wear size 10-12 in pants.I was very pleased with my purchase! I wanted to purchase snow pants that would fit comfortably for an affordable price. This was to use for an upcoming camping adventure in the snow. I had received my purchase the date I was told it would arrive. I tried it on and so pleased that it fit. It was comfortable and I still had room to wear leggings. The snow pants were already lined with a soft material. The snow pants weren’t stiff and were easy to put on. I liked the way it fit, not too lose but not a straight leg fit either. I couldn’t wait to try them in the snow! Well, the snow pants did so well in the snow. I was dry and warm the entire time I was in the snow. I will be purchasing another pair or two!

Decent pants
These pants are nice. I got the gray ones with the black knee area and orange brand lettering. It was nice to get a size xsmall, as I'm about 5'3 and 103lbs. There's still plenty of room to wear base layers underneath these, which is nice. I like the length on the inseam,as it's generous! Even though I'm only 5'3, I'm all legs, and I have a 31 inch inseam, and these are long enough! I'm a hiker, and these are nice for winter hikes. The only disappointment is that the thigh pocket is only big enough to fit a credit card and a chap stick. I was hoping for more of a cargo pocket situation so that I could put my phone in there, since it's difficult to hike with a phone in your front groin area pocket where your leg/ hip bends. Bummer. Otherwise, decent pants.

Bought to walk in PNW rain
I thought these might have a little more stretch to them, so when I first tried them on I was a bit concerned at the amount of stiffness. However, once I got walking, they were fine. I am used to the flexibility of leggings, but I needed something more waterproof for walking in Oregon. For sizing purposes, I am 5'7" and 175 lb and I ordered XL. There is enough room to wear some leggings inside if I felt like I needed another layer, but with the fleece liner I feel like they'll be good as they are for my purposes. My legs are fairly long, and I still have at least an inch extra length in the leg, but it doesn't bother me.I put them through the ringer on the first time out... 45 minutes in pretty much a downpour. I wore the pants just on their own (no additional leggings underneath), and they were warm enough and fairly breathable. They did keep my legs dry, except for the area on my thigh where there is a zipper and seams - - that allowed water to seep in. That was the only part that was damp on the inside, and considering how much it rained, I am actually fairly impressed. All-in-all, I'm happy with the purchase and they will suit my purpose.

Fit for tall, average-build is good
I'm writing this solely based on the fit and appearance as I have just received them and haven't tested them out hiking yet.I am 5'10", 165 lbs, 38 inch hips and 32 inch waist. These pants sit right below the belly button for me, so the hips are the measurement that matters. Personally I prefer a higher-waisted pant, but maybe this height will be good for active hiking. I got a size large intending to layer underneath, and it seems to be perfect. By themselves, the pants fit slightly roomy (I wouldn't say loose) and have an elastic waist. Bending over, the pants would definitely go low in the back, so long shirts might be necessary when hiking. The included belt is black and orange, which clashes with the pink zipper detail, but not a big deal. The belt is definitely cheap, but seems to work okay. The inseam is perfect for me. I just measured and I have a 31 inch "inseam" on my leg to the ankle, and these pants hit at the bottom of the ankle which is exactly what I was looking for. The inside lining is soft.Overall, I recommend for the price. I will test them out with an outdoor walk in freezing weather this weekend.

Great for snow not for ski
Okay these pants are actually pretty awesome. Their waterproof. They fit well. They are all around pretty amazing. The only problem is that the bottom of the pant is too narrow to go over your ski boots. And there's not a zipper in the back to have them fit so you have to stuff them into your ski boots or have them wadded up and bunched up on top of the ski boots. We pretty much look like morons on the ski slopes. They were fine for when we went snowmobiling. They were great for walking around in the snow. But I would not wear them to ski. But only for that reason. Otherwise they were waterproof and warm and all the things that we needed in a ski pant. We just needed them to go over the ski boot and they do not.
