Southwire Company LLC Neutral-Ground Bonding Plug

When I used my Predator 3500 super quiet inverter to power my travel trailer, the surge protector showed an open ground, as did all my internal rv outlets. I found this plug and was skeptical, but gave it a try. It works perfectly and now my surge protector and internal outlets in my rv show it is correctly grounded. Super simple!

1. This Neutral-Ground Bonding Plug solved a common problem mentioned here -getting a furnace to run (ignite/heat actually).2. Details:a) I bought an EcoFlow DELTA Portable Power Station 1260Wh Generator Certified (refurbished). It provides up to 1800W total (and handles surge to 3300W). it’s part of my kit power outage (form many days!) home survival kit! The Power station works great, but would NOT power the furnace! [ Actually, the blower motor would work, but the igniter would never kick in!]b) My furnace runs at about 450w & surges to about 750w, so I think this DELTA Power Station should work? A bit of reading showed me that the furnace (like many/most/all?) requires a grounded power connection. The home power is grounded, but unplugging the furnace from the home and plugging it into the Power Station -means it is not grounded. This is where the Neutral-Ground Bonding Plug comes in! Adding it to the SAME plug circuit makes the system grounded/compliant and the furnace now runs correctly off the EcoFlow Power Station for about 10+ hours!,c) More details: I initially tried plugging in the NGBP into one plug on the Power Station and then plugging the furnace into a different plug, but the furnace did not “see” the NGBP. Anyway, by putting both the furnace plug and the NGBP plug on one shared plug and plugging THAT into the Power Station – the furnace “saw” the grounded plug and works perfectly! See the picture for how it works for me. Anyway, could not believe it would work. . .but it did and I am happy!BOTTOM LINE: Great purchase! The plug delivered as advertised!***Thank You! ***

Bonded the generator and allowed me to use my prometrics surge protector with my RV

This did the trick for my generator/inverter to have the surge supressor between the generator and camper, attached and working.

This little device allows me to charge my new Tesla Model 3 from my Bluetti AC500. Fantastic! Puts my 5000 Watts of Solar panels and 18,000 Watt Hours of Bluetti batteries to full use.

This does exactly what it is supposed to do. My generator is a floating neutral model and this corrects that. My only knock is the molding of the plug has a curved tail, not straight. That's the reason for 4 stars.

If you want to power your RV with a standard Inverter/Generator with an open ground and you have any type of EMS/Surge protection, either built into your rig or via an external device, you need one of these simple Bonding Plugs to bond the internal grounding on the Generator. Simply plug it into one of the 120v standard outlets on the generator and it will now appear to be grounded to the EMS/Surge protection device, allowing the power to pass through. Easy-Peasy!

Need it for 2200 Yamaha generator to provide power to the fridge.

bought a small power generator (firman) a couple of years ago and hadn't had a chance to try it until the recent week-long power outage. The generator is great on everything else except for my water tank (heater) and furnace(although not the season to use it, just to test it).tested voltage output on hot/neutral/ground to identify that its neutral-to-ground has about -55 V, so to confirm someone's comment on an electrician forum about "two hot" instead of real earth grounded neutral.bought this product and plugged it into one of the outlets on the generator, and yes, water tank, furnace, ...., everything!Because of the knowledge of the creator of this product, it is absolutely worth the price (not for its material or technology).

Simple way to make your portable gas neutral-floating generator into a bonded-neutral generator. Now devices that check for ground faults have no ground faults.

Our Travel Trailer has a built in surge protector which our new Generac generator refused to work with. I contacted the surge protector manufacturer who tipped me off about this little device which not even my Travel Trailer dealer knew about. As soon as we plugged it in to the generator the surge protector carried out its diagnostics and voila - we had power. Worth every cent.
