I had usually rinsed my grapes under a metal colander, then loosely lined them up on the terry side of a clean cotton dish towel, in the middle (photo). Then I fold over approx. a third of the towel to cover some of the grapes, fold the other third over that, completely covering the grapes, then gently roll with hands in a similar motion to using a rolling pin. This completely dries the grapes. I was a disappointed that using the spinner only resulted in a mere 3/4 tablespoon of water (photo), and it didn't come close to eliminating the need to towel dry. HOWEVER, I will say that the towel didn't feel nearly as wet, and it took less effort and time to roll the grapes dry.
