Turns out product description of "...service life up to 3 years..." is farily accurate. Noticed today (2 months short of 3 years) that LED is only coming on dimly (slow flicker). Will open and see if anything obvious (easy) to desolder/replace or if need a new replacement. Impressed with vendor. Contacted late Friday about warranty support for the motion sensor issue. Had response within 24 hours. Actually took me longer to provide requested info. Again, within 24 hours of providing that additional info, vendor honored warranty. It's a given all products will have some percentage of issues. For me, a solid product gets 4 stars. 5 stars is only deserved for vendors who fully stand behind their product warranty terms. -- 1 year ~2 month update: been off and on noticing out the window this light turns on at night. really couldn't tell why. recently added external security camera for same area and able to view entire dusk to dawn recording. light is constantly cycling on/off with nothing in the area (driveway) that would trigger detection. the video timestamps is semi-random... so can't really see a pattern. light itself is still working in terms of brightness and strength... just can no longer associate it triggering with "hey... someone's on the driveway" anymore. knocking off 1 star for this. will see how vendor handles this as this is supposed to have an 18 month warranty. --- 3 month update: working well under eaves. +1 star (to 4). Bought 2 more for side yard of house. This time no eaves. Noticed manufacturing difference (see photo). Control unit is flipped.... Facing down. All other (and product photo) is up. Would actually prefer facing down as that seems better for not letting rainwater in. --- Combo metal (main body) &plastic (sensor unit and connector to main body) light. Design has setting dials facing upwards. Plus joint fitting don't feel quite snug. Together raises concerns about long term water leaks. No frills box and 1/2 page instructions. Inside test passed ok. Installed under eaves outside. Installation can be awkward. The mount handle is short. You'll need a very flat 90deg screwdriver because there's no way to rotate the light out of the way to clear acesss for a normal screwdriver to tighten the mounting screw or nut (note: provide your own... Not included). Easier to unbolt and remove mount handle. Install that. Then re-attach main light unit. Appears to only have light on or off with choice of 2 motion triggered on modes. Trigger on all 24 hrs or only trigger when dark. You'll need trial & error to "set" other two dials between min and max. Dials are small and awkward to access and turn. At least once you figure out your setting this isn't something you'll change often. Depending on how well this works installed will add back 1 or 2 stars.

Great little light that works perfectly. I installed under a barn where I have my golf cart parked. The light comes on as I approach so I can find the light switch etc. Plugs right into an outlet and comes with mounting bracket. Would buy again if needed. It's not too bright, so if you need a lot of light maybe get something more substantial, but it's perfect for what I want.

I can't speak to longevity or waterproof. This is a great little light. I would not recommend it for lighting up a yard or driveway approach. We are using it to light up an entryway. The light is very white and bright but the distance the light is thrown is not very far. Perfect for an entryway or patio. Mounting is easy once you remove the mounting bracket and screw that the wall, then bolt the light back onto the mount.

I bought this light to scare away raccoons that were tearing up my back yard. Seems to have done the trick because anywhere I've placed them: no more little raccoon dug holes. Installation was just plugging them in and leaving them on the patio, next to the yard. If you had to do a more regular installation [like up nearer the roof of the house], installation would be more difficult. I'm a little concerned about leaving it plugged in during the rain so I unplug these units and bring them under a roof when it might rain. I like that you can adjust a number of the parameters [e.g. sensitivity, how long the light stays on etc]. Would buy this product again.

When this lights up, it's nice but I never did get it working correctly which is why I am only giving it three stars.

I tried it indoors, so I could test the light, motion sensor, & fidget with the dials. I might use a silicone sealer for the area around the screen, to keep water out of it. Indoors, it lit up our entire living room. I am going to test the motion sensor more when it's installed. 2/4/2024: Updated to add a photo of how it performs at night. Sorry for the blurry picture - the light is mounted under a slight overhang in the shed just out of screen to the right. Even though it's said to be weather resistant, I don't want to risk it getting rained on every other day. The picture does not do it justice. It is VERY bright and the motion sensor is sensitive enough to pick up kittens walking nearby. Would absolutely recommend. 4/29/2025: almost halfway through 2025, and it's still working fine. I wish I had more outside electrical outlets; I would be using 3-5 of these lights instead of the nearly 2 dozen solar and battery powered motion lights I've ordered.

We've had it for several years -- it works great. It took a bit of tweaking to point the sensor correctly. it picks up people but not little animals. Our driveway slants up from the house, so the sensor doesn't turn on until you are half-way down the driveway, but it senses a wide range (about 40 feet from front door to the garage, and out about 30 feet).

I would give zero if I could The light work during the day in my living room while I was testing it, but it’s sitting outside now and has not detected a bit of movement nada zilch nothing I guess I’ll bring it in tomorrow and play with it some more but this is not working out so far

The lamp was a lot smaller than I'd thought it would be but it still does a good job of illuminating the pathway.

Everything is adjustable for sensitivity, brightness, range etc. Easy install. Very bright, perfect lights around the yard . Cant beat the convenience of the motion detection

Real bright light for how small it is. Recommend

Update: light started strobing for unknown reason. This is useless now. We ordered a white unit and got a grey unit. It arrived several weeks before expected delivery. The light itself works fine, it's is however not very bright. We bought this to use on our path/drive way for our delivery drop location. If it was brighter I would have given a much higher rating. It was slightly difficult to attach the unit to the roof as there is very little space to get screws into the mounting bracket, it had no screws with the unit.
