Big Nate: Say Good-bye to Dork City (Volume 12) Paperback – Illustrated, March 17, 2015

We discovered Big Nate from another neighborhood boy & my boys LOVE, LOVE these books! I cannot lie, I LOVE them too! They are SO SUPER funny to the boys & to the adults (maybe not always in the same way). This one is actually just the comic strip from certain parts of the year, so not really a 'book' so much as just 'segments' of the comic strip from the paper. BUT, it still sort of follows a story 'arch' and it is still REALLY funny! My 5 yr old will 'read' it (mostly looking at the pictures & I then read it to him) & he thinks its funny. My 8 yr old reads it to himself & loves them. So, good for many ages. But reading level is at least 3rd grade level, I would say (for independent reading).

My son is addicted to these Big Nate books! Cute books & funny story lines & pictures, great for kids! It keeps them interested & keeps them reading. He is 9 years old & earns them & has started his own collection! The comic book style is what he likes most about them & reads them over & over & also trades them with friends & even reads them on the bus. He reads them to earn video game time or electronics time too. They even have these in the school library as approved books for his age & grade.

"Big Nate Say Good Bye To Dork City" is a funny and exciting book about how Nate wants to join the coolest kid in schools posy. But then he gets tired of doing things for him. He misses his friends.But the coolest guy in school says your not allowed to hang out with the losers (also known as Francis Teddy and Arthur who he doesn't like a little because he is dating the he likes)but he also said"if you leave my posy you will be sorry you ever joined.

My kids love it! Really anything in the entire series. I happen to think there is not meat to the books but there isnt one that they won't read. My daughter at age 9 does not understand some of the humor or phrases as it more middle school humor and she is a homeschooled elementary but either way she likes this book.

The Big Nate book got here quickly (good service!), and promises to be another humorous book !

I love this book! Easy to read over and over again without getting bored. Like all Big Nate books, there is a loose plot the story follows as well as unrelated comics that still add humour and are fun to read. Highly recommend!

My son really enjoys the Big Nate Series and will often re-read the book after he finishes. He read this book at lighting speed and told me how much he enjoyed this one, highlighting his favorite parts. The price of this book was nearly $3 cheaper than getting it in stores so I could not pass up the deal. Shipping was quick (Prime 2-day) and the book was packaged well with no damage.

My son got this for Christmas.. he doesn't like to read.. but loved these comic books
