I plug the optical out of the Humax into the input of the transmitter, which then connects to the Sony headphones. There was a big lip sync delay at first, but that is because I have an 80ms delay on my Humax to sync with my TV. If I set the delay to 0ms the sync is acceptably close; not perfect but fine as far as I'm concerned. However, the big bonus for me was the realisation that the device can be set to receive. This means that I can connect it to my non bluetooth hifi (Marantz CR603) via its aux in. Bingo, two devices updated to Bluetooth! Very easy to set up and use.
