It can harm you, a loved one or your equipment.
I just lost an Video card on my computer because of this light. No BS this light can be lethal. I have pictures showing the gooseneck of this light having 120VAC Hot on it. All depends on how you plug in the power cord in the back it is NOT polarized and the neck is tied to one side. OMG. I was using this light and while reconnecting my HDMI cable to a microscope directly above the light my cable hit the light and arced like hell and tripped my room circuit breaker!

Worked once then never again
Turned it on for a work session under the microscope and it was great, nice to have dual brightness settings. The second time I turned it on it worked for a few minutes, then flickered and went out, never to come back on again. If you know how to fix cheap wiring you might be able to open it up and fix it, I was not able to get it to work. Amazon at least was great about a return-refund!

Small footprint, heavy enough to stay in place, adequate light.
Nice little illuminator, each gooseneck adjusted separately. Slighly dimmer than I expected (reflectors surrounding the LEDS would help with that - 3W per LED should be enough), but the light intensity is pretty much sufficient.

Not Bright at all
This definitely doesn’t put out anywhere near the amount of light the normal fiber optic halogen bulbs put out. Not worth the money.

At least one of the lights worked....?
I unpacked it, tested it out and everything looked good. I came back into lab the next day to show off the new scope light, and behold, one of the two lights no longer turned on. A survival rate of 1/2 over 24 hours is pretty bad... It really shouldn't be hard to make a light that turns on. But there you have it.
