Arctix Insulated Snowsports Plus Size Pants - Women's

I'll tell you a few things. Definitely size up and you don't need leggings. I only purchased this to wear for clearing snow from my property in negative temperatures (is this winter over yet) with recordbreaking snow totals. I didn't listen to the recommendations to size up. To fit properly, the pockets have to stay unzipped. It didn't cause any trouble with cold or wet seeping through and I also didn't lose my chapstick out of the pocket but it would look a little silly on the slopes. With leggings on, I was sweating profusely in negative weather. Definitely did fine without them. The length was perfect for me but I'm 5'2" and was wearing ski boots with about an inch of heel. Worth every penny this Winter and holding up great.

I needed these pants for a snow tubing trip and have worn them several times since while out in the snow. It was late in the season and I needed relatively inexpensive plus size pants quickly. Most reviews said to size up so I did. I consistently wear 1X or 18W pants, but I ordered the 2X. They weren't horribly big, but I honestly would have been fine in a 1X, even after layering. The pants are very warm, comfortable, and easy to care for.

These fit great except for the fact that they are way too long. And I don't mean just a few inches, but a good 6-8 inches too long. I would have had to remove the leg zippers in order to hem them and then reinstall the zipper in each leg. I am 5'6" tall and never have to hem pants this much. I am returning and will try a different brand. They seemed of good quality and I would have kept them if they hadn't been so long.

The quality of the product is untested. It may be fine. The issue I have is with the delivery.I ordered this for my wife and the company sent the wrong size. This seemed deliberate as the tag had the size blacked out with a felt tip pen, although the size was still readable. I don't think it's a good practice to attempt deception and waste the time of customers.We were able to return just fine, I just don't know why someone would send the wrong size and take steps to hide it?

I've gotten plenty of use out of these this winter with all of the snow here in the Northeast. I'm warm enough with these over my jeans or a pair of thermals. My only complaint (which cost it the fifth star) is that there is no waistband adjustment. There are belt loops but no belt. I wish it either came with the belt or some type of cinch strap.

These are nice and, for me, it was true to size. The bottoms of the the legs are actually wider than what the picture shows. I expected a more tapered leg at the ankle to look good with snow boots. These are bell-bottoms! But I can tuck boots inside, I suppose.

The snap at the waist was put on backwards. Couldn't use it but the velcro held it together. It was so nice to have a pair of women's size insulated ski pants to wear. The price was the best part. Babs
