I usually purchase my herbs for tea at a specialty place in Oregon. They got hit with the storms, so I decided to see if I could get them on Amazon. I had trepidation at this price point, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The flowers were well packed in a silver zip locked bag. I have made tea with the flowers and the flavor is fresh and light - just what you would expect from Chamomile. I also purchased the spearmint from them as well. Based on this positive experience, I just purchase the lavender and lemon balm. I am making a new batch of tea and decided to puree my flowers into a powder using my Vitamix...oh the smell! Can't wait to make some tea. I will purchase again from this seller.

This is perhaps the best, freshest, sweetest smelling Chamomile I've ever bought. Perhaps it's the time of year, and it's a fresh crop, but when I opened the bag it smelled like pure chamomile honey, and tastes just as sweet.

I have been doing intermittent fasting, so chamomile tea is my entire morning intake. In the beginning I was using so many tea bags that I felt bad for the paper waste and searched for some loose chamomile. Based on my search, you won't find any cheaper full dried chamomile flowers anywhere! When I opened the package, there was a blast of sweet apple smell, which I took as a good sign. As you can see in my photo though, the bottom of the bag was partly open so it wasn't properly sealed. I assume it got popped open during transport in the soft packaging (not a box), so I didn't worry about the safety of the product, and as far as I could tell it wasn't any drier than you'd expect. Be forewarned: these flowers are SUPER strong if you are exclusively accustomed to store-bought chamomile tea in bags. In fact, the first few cups I had, I really didn't like the taste, it was SO earthy and hard to finish. I was putting in about 2 grams worth of flowers, based on the equivalent amount of tea that is inside a tea bag, (about 2 heaping tablespoons), and it was WAY too strong. So I adjusted to just less than half that amount (~1 gram or a heaping teaspoon), and that seemed to make a more palatable, familiar taste to me. It's possible that I'm just a person spoiled by bad processed tea bags, and can't appreciate real chamomile, but just using less of the flowers I found the taste I prefer so take that as you will. Also be aware: this is a TON of chamomile, as you can also see in my photo, I transferred it into two gallon ziplock bags that are both about 2/3 full. All in all, I'm super happy with this product, and I feel better that I'm not wasting so many bags and staples from traditional tea.

This is an excellent product that provides much pleasure. However it cost $13.95 four years ago and has undergone an astonishing price increase.

Im a big tea herbal tea drinker. Usually I’m lazy and just buy the ready made tea bags for my nightly chamomile tea. This time I wanted some chamomile lavender tea. Ready made for 18-20 bags was a bit expensive so decided I’d use loose leaf. This chamomile is harvested in Egypt. at first when you first smell it , it doesn’t quite smell like chamomile but the taste is so wonderful! I have already gone through 1/2lb and will be buying more. Mix only a tsp spoons ( for 8oz cup) of dried lavender flowers ( can add more or less depending on taste) for a truly relaxing treat. I also use Italian sweet cream in mine no extra sugar.
