Great shoes for summer
These shoes are amazing. I bought them for a long trip, and they were so comfortable. The fit, color, durability, style all components were there. I would buy again.

Comfortable, easy to put on, give good support at half the price!
I have purchased Keen sandals similar to these for years. They are great for going in the kayak or to the beach and in the water. I thought I'd try these much less expensive sandals, and they are about as nice. In fact, they have an adjustable strap at the heel which my old Keen sandals do not. They are a little wider and the footbed extends a few mm ouside of the webbing which is different than the Keen sandals; this does not matter to me but might matter if you were doing some heavy duty hiking. I'd buy these again.

Comfy and practical
I’m partial to my keens but after replacing them for the bottoms separating after years of use I wanted a less expensive option. What I like about these- the zip cord to tighten them for water use (have not used in water yet), the back has a Velcro option to really customize the fit on your heel and they seem to have some cushion and are comfortable during my try on. The gray/pink combo is cute too although the look of the shoes are more functional than fashionable (also a wide sole bottom). My fifth toe seems to be visible between the straps but doesn’t stick out which would drive me crazy and I’d probably return, so far it just seems like it wiggles near the straps which is fine. They do seem cheaper made than the keens (rightfully so) and wondering if the sole will separate from the shoe bottom, but I don’t have my kayak anymore so these shoes are beach/vacation/water shoes only. Pretty sure any shoe will get destroyed with repeatedly getting wet and also in saltwater. Even if they last a couple seasons I think they are worth it. I’m at the point of my life where long walks on a rocky hot beach or stepping on stuff in the water is no longer exciting. Looking forward to trying them soon they feel like they will stay on in the ocean.

Comfortable Right Out of The Box!!
Was looking for a comfortable pair of hiking sandals for short walks around the neighborhood or around a nearby park/lake. First I bought a pair of Keen's as they seem to be the gold standard for this type of shoe. After many attempts to adjust the bungee cords on the Keens for a better fit, they were still extremely stiff (made to last forever under extreme walking and weather conditions, I guess...) and my ankles ached after a short 1 mile walk. I continued my search and came across these Dream Pairs Outdoors Sandals. They were pretty - in a homely kind of way - and had great reviews. After today's arrival, I immediately took them out of the box and put them on. I made no adjustments and walked out the front door for a 1.5 mile walk. There was no stress anywhere and my feet were happy! To be honest, I'm not sure trying to tighten or loosen the bungee cord would really matter, as the loops they are thread through are sewn to the body of the shoe. The elastic of the body of the shoe is kinda fixed. When ordering I looked at the Size Chart and ordered a 9.5 based on their recommendation. I haven't worn a size 9.5 shoe in decades, I'm a true 10 or 10.5 (when available). But I trusted the chart and went for it. My foot is exactly 10.5 inches from toe to heel which in this particular shoe is a 9.5. Measure YOUR foot and order accordingly! The arch support is minimal, but I would live my life never wearing shoes if I could, so lacking arch support really doesn't bother me. The material the shoe is constructed with is fairly soft and did not rub or irritate my feet anywhere! Technically these are fisherman's sandals so they are waterproof. I will be hiking in the Seattle area next month so I won't have to worry about walking through small streams and getting my shoes wet! The foot bed extends noticeably beyond the shoe straps all around the shoe. Interesting design; it gives the shoe a larger footprint and better footing on uneven rocky surfaces. The sole is thick and sturdy, and comfortable against a bare foot on the inside. Fortunately for me, my pinky toes don't pop out the sides, they are supported and protected. Probably the only thing I don't care for is the velcro on the heel strap fits perfectly against itself with no over hang, so it takes an extra moment to separate the two halves for removal. Not a deal breaker by any means, especially for the reasonable price tag. I can buy 3 pairs of these in different colors for the price of one pair of Keens!! Walk Happy and Stay Healthy!!

OK for the price, but you get what you pay for.
I bought these for a trip to Costa Rica during the rainy season. We were planning to hike and repel waterfalls so I needed a sturdy hiking shoe that could get wet and have good traction on wet rocks. I took a chance on these because other reviewers said they liked them as well as Keens. My husband and friends all had Keens for the trip but I didn't foresee wearing them after this trip so I didn't want to spend the money. (They all hike a lot more than I do.) So I was somewhat able to compare these with how their shoes held up during our trip. I liked that the back of these had a velcro strap which the Keens don't. That was a huge plus when putting them on and off, especially when wet. It also helped make up for the weird fit. I wear a solid 9.5 in ladies shoes but ordered down to a 9 because my feet are on the narrow side (although I never buy narrows) and other reviewers said these run wide. I figured the strap in the back would make it OK because my heel could go right to the end. However, my toes were still pushed to the tip of the shoes so I ordered a 9.5. The 9.5 size was long enough but waaay too wide. So I sent the 9.5 shoes back and decided to make the 9 work. They ended up working length-wise but they were still a little too wide and when my feet and shoes got wet, my feet slipped around inside the shoes. Not to mention the actual sole is rather wide - a 1/4 + inch lip sticking out beyond the actual shoe - and would catch on rocks and branches as I hiked. We ended up hiking in a few downpours and then also hiking some rivers and waterfalls. I feel like the stretchy shoe fabric did not hold it's shape well when wet, even when I tightened the bungee laces... my foot still sloshed around and the shoe did not feel very supportive. (Keep in mind that these shoes were mostly snug when dry except for being a little wide in the toe box.) I ended up with a small blister on my toe because my foot moved around so much. As far as traction, my companions in their Keens seemed fine on the wet rocks, but I did not feel like there was enough grip and slipped a few times, even on non-mossy rocks. A good thing was that I really didn't need to break these in. They were comfortable right out of the box. But I wore them around for a day beforehand, just in case. I have problems with plantar fasciitis and need good arch support. These don't have much arch support and my foot hurt after wearing these all day. However, I didn't notice my arches hurting after hiking in them, but I also only wore them for 6-7 hours at a time on my trip, not all day like I did at home. I found myself wishing I had spent the money on the more solid, better-fitting Keens. These would likely work well for dry hiking if you have wider feet, but I wouldn't recommend hiking in them when they are completely soaked (which I think is one of the main points of these types of shoes.) For the price, they are OK, and for one trip, they mostly served their purpose. Just don't expect the same quality as Keens. In this case, you really do get what you pay for... cheap stretch fabric that doesn't hold it's shape, inferior traction, and odd sizing. I would give these 2.5 stars.

Comfortable - Light Weight - Flexible
Love these sandals! Extremely comfortable, light weight and flexible. Great traction on slippery surfaces. I've worn these sandals on several trips now - on beaches, trails and city streets. They still look new. Very comfortable and adjustable with a wide toe box that makes them perfect for walking in hot weather because they will accommodate your feet if they swell a little. They dry quickly so if they get wet at the beach or you have to rinse them when dirty, they dry in no time. They look nice enough to wear out to dinner under jeans or summer pants. I highly recommend.
