I got this hat for Burning Man and it was perfect: I'd tried other hats when I was preparing but nothing seems right for me: cheap; or bad fit etc. So I ordered this one just a few days before I was going to leave.. but it didn't arrive. I delayed a bit waiting for the delivery; but finally gave up and just resigned myself to using a different hat. I jumped in my van and started to drive away.. and suddenly I saw the delivery truck in the mirror! So I backed up; grabbed it; and opened the box right away and plopped it on my head: perfect fit; amazing how it's tapered to squeeze just a bit to 'hang on'; I coulln't even shake it off! The wire in the brim is great for shaping it how you like it. The googles I'd bought fit perfectly on top; both looking cool and being there for the dust storms. I wore it constantly and got many compliments! The only downside is that the leather strap is too thin or just not strong enough: it broke several times over a few years and I've re-tied it; but eventually it will get too short with all the knots in it. But I still gave it 5 stars because it's so epic.

Well made leather hat, ordered xl as per size rec but too big. Returned for a large and still slightly big. Looks good

Love the quality and material. Size was perfect as well. Very comfortable. Only issue is the strap is not perfectly centered but gonna use only on property so will ignore it.

Idk if I'd say it's true to size bc I've worn hats all my life and the size I ordered was a little bigger than others I've purchased. It is a heavy hat with a sweat patch in the front but not a band all the way around which I feel would have made it a perfect fit. I wore this for 5 days in 90 degree Oklahoma blazing Sun and it didn't get uncomfortable other than the wet leather on skin feel. I believe the band to be secured by adhesive and the brim is wired so it keeps its shape. Overall a good hat for the money.

Really great hat!!! I love the "distressed" "weathered" look...I didn't want a hat that looked new and perfect. The fit is great. My head shape is more oval, so I used a home made shaper to elongate the hat for my head, but it's a great fit. It arrived well packaged and protected and the shape of the brim is just as expected. It appears to be very high quality materials and well made. There are no issues with the stitching...Shipping was fast. It's perfect for what I have planned!!!

Runs one size bigger will have to pad inside to fit. Took over a month to deliver. Good quality!

I read the other reviews, maybe I have an oval head but this fits very well. I did order a size up though, and happy I did. It isn’t the deepest hat, so know that going in, but nice leather (none of that PU stuff), came uncrushed and in proper packaging, and the little metal stamp on the front is centered. Big fan!

Got this for my Husband, he absolutely loves it

I bought the first hat and it was too big. I went off the size amazon suggested. Sent that back and ordered a medium after measuring with a tape measure. Hat fits really well. The quality of the hat is excellent. I work outside in the sun and rain so time will tell how the hat performs.
