Great Design Improvement!!!
My husband has been purchasing these shoes for several years now, before they had the flaps on the sides with the laces. He has purchased around 5 or 6 pairs so far, and in all but one pair, the stitching on the top of the shoe came unraveled on the sides, next to the shoe tongue where your foot pivots. This would happen within a couple of weeks of him wearing them. It was so frustrating because he LOVED these shoes for their look and comfort (my husband is a big & tall guy.) When I saw these, I could tell the design change was to counter that problem. He bought two pairs of these, the black/grey and the brown/shitake colors. THEY ARE WONDERFUL! The side stitching is not coming apart, because there is no strain on it due to these new side flaps with the laces. That takes the majority of the pull when walking and makes this shoe much more durable. It looks nice, and the fit is still as comfortable as in the previous design. These are now my husband's favorite shoes!

Pretty nice
Really like these shoes.Pros:-Comfy-Soft-Lightweight (very lightweight - I forget I have them on sometimes)Cons:-Stitching on some parts of the shoes could have been better.-They run small. I normally wear size 11.5, but had to return and get size 12 to fit me better)If you're looking for a good pair of loafers, moderately priced, then I highly recommend you get these. I'm gonna pick up another pair in light-grey later this month. Pretty sweet!

Comfortable; but feels smaller than its actual size
This is a very comfortable casual pair of sneakers (color: Black/Black/Dark Grey; 8M US) with flat rubber sole. It is relatively lightweight and suitable as everyday wears. However it has a thick inner lining, which makes the pair a bit uncomfortable on a muggy summer day. The lining also makes it feel physically smaller than its actual size; therefore, ordering the next available size is advisable. I also suggest buying a pair of "no show" socks, which goes well with the sneakers.

I love these. This is my third pair.
This is the second pair of these I've bought. I absolutely love them. I wear them in doors as well as out and about. I wear them in the witer even. Not in deep snow but I do wear them in the winter. They even pass as dress shoes and I always wear them to church. They fit very well and they are wide enough for my wide feet. The price is great, and I received them two days after I ordered them.

Stylish and simple
I get comments everywhere I go with these shoes! I usually wear them without socks now and they look great. And at such a cheap price, it's impossible to say no. I'm sure I'll order another pair once mine wear out (if they're still available).

Great Shoes!
I hate tying shoes, and I've been wearing various DC's for the passed few years. I liked the look of these with the short shoe string. I ended up buying the wrong size, but they stretched out just enough after a couple days to make them comfortable. I wear them everywhere.

You get what you pay for
These are inexpensive, probably a bargain. There's nothing wrong with the fit or feel but the materials don't scream "cool". The uppers are described as leather (suede) but somehow they look and feel like synthetic. Maybe they'll look better with age.

Awesome for the price
Bought these for $16 to use for my nursing program. They've worked out great, but I can see that if they were worn every day they wouldn't last very long. Material isn't the best. BUT THEY WERE 16 BUCKS.
