KONGSqueezz Crackle Ball, Medium, Colors may vary

Doberman loves playing catch with this medium size (& the large size). The ball is very durable & long lasting. We have a few Kong crackle balls & always wait to see what new color will be sent. My Dobe also, is content to sit or lie & just chew & crackle the ball.

My dogs absolutely love these balls. They’re not indestructible, but they do last a good while with my aggressive chewers! I have gotten the small and medium for my smaller mixed breed and the large for my German shep. They usually last for several months of play, sometimes even longer. They tend to split on their seam over time and once they do then I take them away.

I purchased this as a gift for my brother's German Shepherd, to replace her favorite Kong ball. The Squeezz Crackle ball was well received by the dog; however, it lasted less than two weeks before splitting in half at the seam. The inside of the ball "crackle" part cracked into small plastic pieces which could easily have been swallowed by the dog after the ball split open. There was also a smaller ball inside which could have been swallowed. I would not recommended this for any dogs who actually chew, particularly large dogs. Her previous Kong ball which was similar in size but made of slightly more flexible plastic and hollow for placing treats inside, lasted for over a year, though it appears that Kong no longer manufactures that type as we have been unable to find a replacement.

I have a Lab and he's a strong chewer, but doesn't tear things up. Since he can split a tennis ball in 10 seconds, I decided to try some alternatives. This ball was one of my choices and I can tell you this became his new favorite ball. It doesn't seem to crinkle but does seem to bounce back wiyh resistance when compressed and does sound a little funny but I was happy with it...For the day and a half it lasted. The ball has a seam around the middle and it split open and can no longer be played with, so for you with gentle mouthed dogs, this is a great toy, but it's not for Labs.

My small terrier loves this toy. While this is made by Kong, you have to note the packaging does not advertise it as a durable toy like the standard Kong products. We always supervise our dog while playing with this toy, and it is only accessible to her for a few hours. She usually manages to break it open in about a month or so, but it holds up better than other toys we have tried. She also really enjoys toys that make noise. We can't handle a squeaker for very long, so the crackle is a nice alternative. I always have a back up ball because our girl loves these so.

This crackle ball is a nice change from the squeak balls. My dogs love the noise, of course, and they’ve held up well so far …. I have shepherd dogs and a lab so these balls get a lot of use.

Our 1 year old mini doxie loves this ball. It’s big enough to be challenging to carry though she CAN fetch it. Not small enough to hold and chew as she is a very aggressive chewer. So far a pretty good toy!
