I have a Bosch hammer drill. It worked well on a concrete floor

Great bits
Bought a few because I had a large project and these were a great price it seemed compared to local stores. Bought multiple because the cheap ones have dulled in the past. Installed about 100 redhead wedge anchors so far and still on the first bit. Pretty impressed and glad I have a few extras of these. Drill bits are consumables and it’s not common I see something that holds up to 100+ holes drilled 5” into the concrete.

This will work.
I've got the M18 fuel drill with the hammer drill feature and the other day I got the chance to put one of these bits in play while tearing up a floor to frame a 4" deep sunken shower. First off is I've never been impressed with the hammer feature on Milwaukee's cordless drills and a doubt any other brand is better, but I did like that the shank though not a hex is squared off on two sides, that's a real plus and if you know, you know. So I was hanging 2x8 pressure treat along the perimeter as ledgers for the dropped joists I was putting in and my go to method is 1/4 hammer hole and pin with the concrete wedges...3 galv'y 16d nails work as well as in this case just group em together and sink em in the hole. These are merely "placeholders" for the real connection which was 5/8 anchor bolts and a actual corded hammer drill. I'd say it bites well and is fractionally slower than a SDS bit in a actual hammer drill. Overall I'm happy with it and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase more. My only gripe is the whine the cordless drill makes on the hammer feature which is just terrible, but that's no reflection on the bit it's just me taking a opportunity to complain as I never ever complain in the field as the Internet is perfect for that.

Hmmmm..... guess it really does need a hammer drill after all.
I now know the purpose of a hammer drill. Bought 2 bits, thinking that I could use my regular drill to drill holes into well aged concrete. The first bit was destroyed in less than a minute using the regular drill. Used a different old drill bit that had reliably drilled through concrete block with the same result....dead bit. Went out and bought an inexpensive electric hammer drill at the local orange box store and tried again. It worked as advertised, drilled 4 beautiful holes (used water to cool the drill bit). Looks like it will be good for more. This is a good product if you use it with the right equipment. Good luck if you use a regular drill.

Slightly pricey, but worth the money.
DeWalt bits are excellent quality, though like any bit used and abused by a hammer drill in masonry, they don't last too long. So far this bit is lasting longer than the last couple of Bosch bits I have been using to drill holes in either my foundation or brickwork. In the former case, I needed a hole to drive in some rebar for reinforcement for a concrete patch, and the bit size was perfect for that—I used my hammer and knocked in a length of rebar perfectly snug, and the concrete patch is holding up perfectly! Slightly pricey, but convenient to have the bit shipped to my home with some other supplies I needed instead of making a separate trip to the hardware store.

I had spent day's of effort in trying to make 3/8 hole in my apartments concrete cement wall. I was even denied by task rabbit guys that they can't do hard concrete cement walls. As a techie and hobbyist who do all home jobs himself; I researched solution and arrived at this page for getting carbide tipped drill bit; after wasting time n effort n getting stressed out with not good enough drill n various type of drill bits including masonry bits, all useless, don't waste your time. If you need to hang heavy loads; for me my big n heavy TV Wall stand which takes load of my heavy TV (old HD 55inch comparatively heavier than new ones). I bought this one to go with corded 7.5amp good enough drill and voila I was able to finish 6 holes and hang my TV stand n TV within an hr. With accurate measurements n alignments. Drilling holes is a breeze with this one. Highly recommended for DIYers.....

100% recomendada.
