Review: The best firm support - I have an old spinal injury from an atv accident. I have compressed disc and bulging disc along with sciatic nerve damage. I have tried multiple lumbar support, but all were too soft with zero support. This lumbar D support works. The high foam density is hard/firm enough that it doesn't flatten out and it's exactly what I needed. I need this to make a 10 hour drive that's coming up.

**Q: What is difference between the McKenzie Lumbar Roll #700 and the Slimline Roll #705?  Thank you.**
A: I can see why you asked since the description doesn't really describe the difference.  From the pictures, I would say that the 700 (which is what I got) is fatter than the 705.  I find that the 700 works for me but if I had it to do over, I would get the 705.  That said, the 700 is fairly compressible so it is not uncomfortable. I usually use it in the car.

**Q: Can you use it in a car?**
A: If you already have a car with a lumbar type seat, this model will probably be too thick. I use mine in a deep chair and have a thinner type for car.

**Q: Do any of the MacKenzie have a buckle in the strap rather than just adjustable?**
A: no

**Q: I can't decide between the full or the half-moon roll style. Any thoughts?**
A: I bought mine for my neck while doing yoga. I never ended up using it. Then, I decided to use it as a lumbar support in the car. I have large Captian's Chairs in the Minivan and the belt was stretched to capacity. The elastic would have given way so I decided to purchase something entirely different.

I have the full round but it was too thick for me so I tried this and it is much better. I researched the McKenzie Method to cure my lower back pain and at times weakness. Keep your back straight, push your stomach out and within 2 months you can be cured! I use this in my car as I drive all, the more time I drive the better I get if I focus on pushing my stomach out and back straight. I also use one in bed. I installed board under recline seat and back to force a better posture. The biggest cause of lower back pain is recliners and too much time in recliners with the lower humping back going the wrong way.
