1pc Leather Ligature for Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece Black

This is not just your standard ligature. It is a synthetic leather band (which is normal) but has a metal piece vertically attatched to the center (which was foreign to me). I had trouble with the fastener and couldn't get the thing open or closed without a little bit of force. I wasn't satisfied with this ligature. It's better to stick with a brand you know and trust.

My kiddo had o have one for school. They require these for 6th grade band here. No issues at all. Good value for the money

I would prefer if it was just leather without the additional metal piece inside. Allows the reed to slip.

It doesn't really fit in any mouthpiece caps though. I eventually found one that my private teacher owned that I could get to fit it if I forced it in a little.

It is good quality. I'm happy with it. It still creates an airy sound when being played though. It's good considering it's not a brand name ligature.

I need to return it but what a hassle. Just send the right thing already. We needed it in time for a concert and ended up having to go purchase the right one. Didn't have time for a return.

I thought this leather ligature can improve the sound of my clarinet. But I didn't figured it out after I tried it.
