Amazing product
My 12 yr old had surgery on her shin and had to keep it completely waterproof during our Caribbean vacation. We were so bummed but this boot, as we called it, was so easy to use and kept her wound completely dry. It comes with a ball you attach to squeeze the air out of the boot and it suctions to the foot with a vacuum seal. And the bottom has a slight tread so it is safe to walk in slippery areas. This product worked great in the ocean and the pool; totally saved our vacation. We bought two in case we lost one during our trip. We tried another type of cast cover that stretched over and did not prove to be waterproof, for us anyway. Definitely recommend this product to anyone needing 100% waterproofing.

Kid tested, Mother extremely happy. Here are some tips.
I read most of the reviews, some negatives spoke about this getting holes, easy to tear and such. So with all the information I gathered from the reviews I ordered and gave it a try. We were leaving for a beach vacation with cousins and dreaded the idea that my 9 year old son would miss out on most of the fun and games. Here are our facts. C (my son) broke his toe and is in a boot up to below the knee for 2-3 weeks. Most reviews were for use over a cast, as are most of the products I found. This one looked like it might fit over a boot and it did! First I took a pillow case and covered the boot. This was to protect the cover from any parts of his boot that might cause tears. Just kinda folded the extra material around the boot so it was flat around. I took waterproof medical tape and wrapped it around the calf part to keep the pillow case in place for when we put the protector on. Muscle was needed to stretch it over the boot. It is made of a rubber material that is somewhat thick. I did NOT try to PULL on like a sock. We gathered it up as much as we could to keep the cover from sliding over parts of the boot that might cause a tear. This next step was added after some trial and error: the tight opening is the only tight part of the entire cover (until you pump the air out) My son is 9 so it could have been tighter but that would have made it impossible to get it over the boot. Our fist day it didn't seal well and it allowed water in. This is the part we added. I used waterproof medical tape and help create a better seal by tapping the top of the cover to his skin. I did this 2 times around his calf. Then used the pump part to squeeze out the rest of the air. I kept the pump handy throughout the day to give it a few pumps to keep the seal in place. My son was able to body surf at the beach!! He walked the better part of one day around a water park without any damage to the sole. It has a rougher surface on the bottom to add some traction. We took care and took it off at the water park once the day was done so he was not walking around the parking lot with it. This cover SAVED our vacation!!!!! He was able to do everything (Beach, pool & waterpark) I would highly recommend this, just use some common sense in preventing tears and waterproof medical tape to assist with the opening and its ability to "seal". I don't know what we would have done without this!!! Thank you DryPro for saving C's vacation.

Awesome Product!!!
I broke my ankle in 3 places in the middle of July this year and required surgery. I thought for sure that it would be the end of the swimming season for me. I was so upset because I enjoy the water so much, and it is actually therapy for my back to be able to swim and exercise in my pool. This product is amazing! It is like a balloon that fits snugly over your leg. You pump the air out of it with the bulb and that's it! You can swim with it on! You don't have to worry about the air coming in if the valve opens up because it doesn't. The valve is only for sucking the air out. When your ready to take it off, you let the air in by pulling the top open. It is not uncomfortable and it is very well made. It even has little grippers on the bottom so you have some traction and you don't slip! This is a life saver! I highly highly recommend it!!

Doesn’t work
This cast cover is so hard to get on and off. The first time I used it in the shower it worked. The second night it leaked and got my entire cast soaking wet that I had to go back to the doctor have them cut it off and make a new one. Then it leaked again the next time. Garbage!

Awesome, really works, just didn't last as long as I had hoped...
I ordered this to cover my leg cast for baths. It worked perfectly. I read the other reviews warning that it might get snagged on the fiberglass cast, so I asked my Dr. for an extra piece of the "stockinette", the soft tube sock type of thing that goes on your leg before they put on the cast. I used that to cover the cast before I pulled on the DryCorp Cast Cover. It slid right on. It's great that you can pump the air out of this cast cover, so you can get your leg under the water (otherwise it would float on the top like a pool float). It's almost like shring wrapping the cast. It was always perfectly dry in side after my bath. I was able to use it for 2 weeks. The last day, the day I was going to get the cast off, it developed a hole at the top where you hold it to pull it up. It stretches out as it goes over the cast, it seems it just got too thin as I was pulling it up that day and my finger went through it. Glad I got it, just glad I didn't have to use it longer than 2 weeks. If you will use it long term, you will need to be extra careful as you put it on.

Great for protecting foot/ankle after surgery when showering
worked well to protect surgery site/bandages after foot surgery. I recommend it to others; it held up well.

Muy buen producto, la compré para mi mamá ya que ibamos a la playa y tenía una herida que no se podría mojar, se pudo meter a la alberca y disfrutar la playa, un poco resbalosa en algunas superficies, la recomiendo ampliamente

Bought this in August '24 to replace a product my local medical supply store carries that leaks. The Dry Pro is not only is easy to put on, but also, DOES NOT LEAK. Keeps the affected area dry, when showering and when submerged in our hot tub. Highly recommended if you have a cast or wound that needs protection from the wet. Side note, as an RN and user of a DryPro I will be recommending this product to my medical supply store.

I have been using the full leg cast cover for the last 6 years. Due to the age, I had to replace it & thought the half leg would be better. I still want something shorter because the wounds are mostly on my feet. These are excellent, I have used all 3 sizes and recommend all of them 100%. They allow you to shower when you have a cast or wounds that must remain dry. They have been a lifesaver for me.
