Excellent video and audio - and very easy to setup. Works perfectly with gotomeeting.com.
Excellent quality all the way around... Crisp video with awesome compression, and a large mic/speaker that picks up sound very well. Recently used this on a Gotomeeting with participants from the US, India, the U.K. and Singapore (all at once), and this unit performed beautifully. The key is in the compression of video and audio, and making it tolerable for people far away... Unlike many standard webcams, this Logitech unit does a very nice job feeding video and audio, even over a low 10Mbps bandwidth with over 30 people online from all over the world. Very easy to setup (I used mine on a Mac) -- your computer simply reads this as a webcam and external mic.

EASY setup. Nice functionality.
Almost configured itself, as the Windows 10 systems detected and selected the right settings! Good strong picture and mic functionality.

It would be so easy just to have a stand-alone Far End Controller that ...
Why are people rating this well? The camera is only controllable by people in the conference room. So if you are connecting remotely you cannot point the camera at who you want to look at. The only exception to this is if you have the Far End Controller installed AND the identical camera set-up in the other location. However, what use is that for people connecting from the road, with laptops, etc. It would be so easy just to have a stand-alone Far End Controller that would remotely no matter what camera setup the remote user had. This is a good product, ruined by bad programming.

Ok first off I want to tell you that I bought this item so I can use it as a conference cam and with mac for more of an HD camera than the default 480p stock Macbook Retina. You cant. Period. There is no way for imovie or final cut to pick up this as a camera. I tried multiple ways with NO LUCK at all, Even when I placed a call on Skype I couldnt get Skype to use this camera on my brand new macbook. It sucks too because I was going with all the high reviews and raves about it. I was really let down that I spent 800 on a device that didnt even function properly. Let me also annotate the fact that half the time the device wouldnt even turn on. Didnt spin when it turned on or nothing. Sometimes it did, but I didnt pay for sometimes.

Best Conference Camera I Have Found, by far
In an effort to get our conference room set up for video, we started with the Logitech ConferenceCam BCC950. That didn't work because the field of view was not quite wide enough and the sound wasn't great because the speaker and mic are part of the camera and in our case that put them at the wrong side of the room. So, we moved the BCC950 to another office and ordered a Logitech ConferenceCam CC3000e. We were immediately impressed with the camera, but again didn't love the audio. The speaker is big and there are lots of cables to contend with if you want the speaker in the center of a long table. Back to the drawing board. That led me to the HuddleCamHD 3X Wide. My thought he re was to find a good camera with the field of view we need but without audio. I also considered the BigShotHD 3X Wide, but decided on the HuddleCam, partly because the BigShot was not reviewed anywhere and their website looks like it was developed by a middle schooler. For the audio we went with the Revolabs FLX and immediately loved it. But not so much for the HuddleCamHD 3X Wide. For a camera of this cost, we expected that the picture quality would be better. The color wasn't great, even after spending quite some time tweaking it. Which leads me to the menu system--it reminded me of programming a VCR in 1995: blurry, hard to read text, unintuitive controls--again, not what I would expect with a product of this cost. In the end we went back to the Logitech ConferenceCam CC3000e and kept the Revolabs FLX for audio. It turns out you can use the Logitech ConferenceCam without connecting the speaker/base. The picture quality is stunning compared to the HuddleCam (think iPhone 3 camera vs. iPhone 5 camera), the camera is smaller, comes with a mounting bracket (HuddleCam doesn't), and looks nicer on the wall. Plus the Logitech cameras support far-end camera controls, which I'm not sure that the HuddleCam does (if you're looking for that you may want to check before buying). The only downside is we are missing the camera presets on the remote, but we don't end up moving the camera that much anyway. You may find better cameras out there, but at this price point (around $1,000), nothing else comes close!

Great for 12 person conference room!
Bought 2 of these kits to improve the audio and video in our 12 person conference rooms in 2 offices. The audio is incredible and we can clearly hear everyone around the table in both offices during video conference calls. The camera with panning and zooming is awesome, especially since the quality of the video is way better now. We previously were using the Jabra and Logitech HD pro cam that came with our Chromebox For Meetings and this Logitech ConferenceCam system easily plugged into the Chromebox setup for seamless use. Great low investment to up the quality of our team meetings without spending $10k+!

Don't upgrade firmware
Stopped working as soon as firmware was upgraded, been trying to get a warranty exchange for over a month. The Logitech customer service is horrible.
