Great but I didn't realize
I like it a lot especially for the price the only thing I didn’t realize how is it doesn’t have a locking mechanism to lock in your measurement I’m still trying to get used to that maybe I’m doing it wrong

On-size right out of the box.
I've used Starrett stem mics my whole machining career but it was time to replace my 3" - 12" set so I opted for this set because it reads down to 1.5". The handle makes reading small diameters easy without having to use telescoping gauges and every configuration has been right on size straight from the factory.

No locking mechanism
I'm a machinist. I use various Mitutoyo instruments all day. Very disappointing these ID mics don't have a way to lock your measurement. Very hard to measure accurately when the slightest movement turns your scale. Would not recommend

Disappointed in the case
Opened them up and was pretty disappointed with the case, seems cheap and not very sturdy, opens up easily.
