Love this stand. Can use it on my lap while watching TV and not get a backache. I have had this model previously and it put up with abuse for over 2 years before I had to replace it.

I use it to hold my iPad while I’m sitting in my chair and it works great.

I bought this for a period of time where I had to lay in bed for a lot of the day but did not want to rest my laptop on my chest. It works pretty well and is sturdy. It fits most laptops reasonably well, I had an older 15.6 inch gaming laptop and it fit decently well, they include clips to help keep it from sliding off the edge if you have a very large laptop. One thing I noted is going to be a matter of personal opinion, but I struggled to find a great position to set it up in. There are multiple joints so you can adjust it a lot, but there is some limit based on position. I usually wound up shifting it between two positions depending on how flat I was laying vs how much I was trying to sit up on a given day. Like I said, this will depend a lot on your body size and how you're using it. Overall I would definitely recommend giving it a shot.

When I first ordered this item, I thought it would be bulky and heavy, but my wrists and neck were killing me from having my laptop on my lap during work. I picked up the box and I could not believe how light this was! I can open it when I need to and store it when I'm done. Would be great for travel! CON: the sturdiness is questionable with heavier laptops and items - maybe 7+ pounds. I feel like it can fall. For standard laptops, works amazing!!

I wanted a laptop table to go over my lap in bed. Here is what I don't like: -Other brands with the same legs have a ventilated "table" surface but this one doesn't. Your laptop bottom needs ventilation holes - Unstable in many positions. Aggravating getting the two sides to match; angle indicators are sometimes off. You are constantly trying to eyeball and match the angles on each side so it is the same on both sides which is surpisingly difficult to do. - Locking "push buttons" on legs that are used for adjustment need another round of design revisions. If you have even short nails you can't press the buttons. You have to wiggle the buttons to get them to release- they don't "just release", so that is aggravating. If you have nails you really need to use your knuckle to press instead of the tip of your finger, and that makes it even more difficult to adjust. - The item should have a diagram sheet to show you how to position it for various heights and purposes, otherwise you are trial and erroring it, and may not ever figure out certain stable positions. What I like: It's super sturdy, lightweight and attractive. The legs are smooth and slide easily on the bed or sofa.

I would have given it four stars but I bought one “used-like new” and it absolutely was not like new. The front corner was dented, there was a nick in the black paint in front center, and both plastic clips were broken when I opened the box. I mean what the *@&! Amazon?? Anyway, the stand is pretty solid. I have a huge new gaming laptop and I needed a stand for it while it sits on my desk when I use an external monitor. At first I thought the stand seemed a little flimsy when the beast was on it, but it really didn’t move too much and I feel comfortable with it. There are so many ways to adjust the legs as well. I also tried using it while sitting in bed and it worked perfectly for that too. Overall I’d say it’s a good stand. Seems like it’s priced at the top end of reasonable but you get what you pay for. I recommend this item.

This item was exactly what I needed to evelvate my computer over the top of other equipment when in a tight space with little table space.

This is an incredible device. I had back surgery and was bed ridden for weeks this thing changed my life. easily adjust to go over your lap or stand it up on the table and stand to use your laptop. Awesome for paying bills and things like that. very sturdy very lightweight very impressed. It can take a bit of adjusting to get it to properly balanced on a bed but once you do it’s perfect

This is a fantastic stand! It's really sturdy and very versatile. We use it primarily to code lying in bed and it works so great for that! I'm sure it'll work great in any other configuration too!

This design is genius, definitely the best bed stand for my laptop out of the several I had. Fully adjustable, transformable into different configurations, usable on bed and on table (to bring laptop higher up to eyes level and not hunch over it). Can be used with monitors too. I'm absolutely happy with it.

Absolutely amazing. Gets the correct angle and height for reading. I’m using it with my books, tablets and laptop. The legs and laptop resting is made of aluminum metal. It’s extremely lightweight. Easy to move or to carry around. The hinges are made of abs plastic. So it needs to be handled with care and respect.

Light but does not feel flimsy. An useful product.
