After years of experimenting with avoiding certain foods, I learned that my worst breakouts coincided with dairy consumption. Avoiding dairy seems to keep sores at bay. That said, I’m still prone to developing mouth sores following an injury, like from biting my cheek… or small amounts of dairy as an ingredient.
