Great smart plug, company, App and price!
I got my first TP-LINK Kasa plug (There does seem to be several seperate Kasa or TP-LINK brands, I only own TP-LINK Kasa devices, referred to from here on out as just Kasa in this review) bundled with an Echo Dot. I had used WEMO plugs, and figured what problem is 1 non-WEMO plug going to do? Well, it caused me to replace every non Kasa device with Kasa devices! Shortly after I got this, we bought a new home. I packed everything up and set it up at new home. Internet and WiFi settings were different, and I had to re-setup everything, I mean everything! This is were I fell in love with Kasa. The WEMO app had been nice enough when originally setting up, but when it came to having to delete/re-connect things, the WEMO tested the limits of my patience, multiple times. I finally had to delete even the WEMO app and reinstall it. The Kasa app just seemed to flow better, smoother, easier. The Kasa had everything wiped out and setup back up with new name, device icon and label in no time, and then pumped it into Alexa! (I have the Echo Show 10" with built-in Zigbee Smart hub) It had more options when it came to labeling and device icons (what you see when accessing through a smart device like Alexa, Google Home, etc). The plugs I use for lamps or lighting, I like to show as a light bulb, and WEMO just couldn't or wouldn't let me do that. The Kasa plugs are half the size of my WEMO's. They don't block the other plug outlet. They have an independent on/off switch, so you can manually turn on/off plug power. I had multiple WEMO devices, and replaced them with Kasa equals. I am so happy with the ease of use of the app, smooth integration with Alexa Smart Home and overall operations that I just ordered the first pair of Kasa Spot wireless outdoor cameras to integrate into our home security system! I would highly recommend the TP-LINK Kasa mini smart plugs! The app is great too! I was not paid or compensated for this review.

Easy to use
This is my second time purchasing these kasa smart plugs. They are very easy to use and install. The app is also very easy to use, understand and create schedules. I can also turn them on and off from the app. I currently am using them for all my christmas lights and trees and they work great. They stay connected although a couple of times they have gotten disconnected. But I feel that is normal and doesn't happen often. They also work great for saving money because I dont forget to turn things off now , and if I do I can turn it off from my phone.

Easy to set up, works with Alexa
These are great for xmas trees and other things you don't want to manage. We have these on a few things we bundle together to schedule on/off times. They function well and it's fast to set up. They are not the tiniest, but who's looking at your outlets? They work well and the Kasa app controls them well. Good value

Easy to use solution
I bought these to help setup a greenhouse or sorts in a room in the house to help manage the lights and fan and these have been perfect. All my succulents and cacti and orchids are exploding and flowering. It's been a really easy way to manage everything so now I can go on vacation and not worry about it. They turn on for 12 hours and then turn off. Compatibility with Android has been easy. Pairing was quick. Following the step by step process in the app was simple and worked every time. Occasionally I do turn them off before the timer is up, and I can do it from anywhere in the house. The quality of the product is right where you would want it. Easy and simple, nothing to break. The manual on/off is a nice fat square button on the side to it. There's a blue/orange light on the side to help you determine if it's on or off, but then the light turns off so it won't disturb your sleep if it's in your bedroom. Manually turning these on/off either by the app or actually manually pressing them is quick and responsive. I've had a few occasions where they've done some funny things like not turn on when the timer said it was supposed to, but I chalk that up to up Internet and wifi setup being unreliable at times. I've purchased these plugs multiple times now as I've used them up and added more items to the growing network of houseplants and even though they're no longer in the same room, they all go in sync. I always know when it's 9am or 9pm because lights turn off on their own. It's perfect!

Great little plugs for home automation including local control. Beware of high-wattage items!
Love these things, handy for so many uses, and love that you can configure them via OSS tools that don't require connection to the Kasa servers/services. Only caveat is that the relays can produce sparking when controlling high-wattage items (e.g. a space heater)... I melted one of the outlets in a power strip this way... and I'm sure it's a fire hazard when used that way.

Great smart device that works well. I prefer a plug to a smart bulb. They are very reliable in regards to connectivity. Also simple to set up. You can control the devices connected to the smart plug while you're away from home at any time. With Alexa you can turn all your lights on or off at the same time with one phrase such as "Alexa goodnight" or "Alexa let there be light" You can customize the lights you want on or off with these functions. The plugs work well and do similar functions with google also - win win! Convenient and a bit of fun!

I have 3 of these and an outdoor plug of the same brand which run all my Christmas lights this year it has made life so much easier compared to the old dial timers and switches The kasa app syncs easily with other home products my smart things control built in to my Samsung was just a matter of signing in and giving permissions to kasa with the Android Auto in the car I can check on the status override a scheduled on or off all while on the go also paird very well with my google home system making voice commands from any room easy to accomplish I will be adding more and more kasa products to my smart home upgrades, for a few simple reasons ease of use, functionality, and user friendly interface on the app and shear quality have earned a 10/10 from me **The picture included is only the outside plug all the rest were added to Indoor lights I.E. the tree and other windows in the front**
