I've had this monitor since 2016. It has outlived almost every single secondary monitor I've ever had. I've been thru 3 now since 2016. Great color, sturdy and has been my go-to monitor for years. If you need a sturdy monitor at 60hz with great color? If you can still buy this on at a good price. This is a wonderful monitor.

Great product !!!, I've been looking for affordable prices on the computer screen lately. But when i saw this, first of all I thoughts that i have to go with the big computers companies like HP, Dell and more, but when i bought this Acer screen and used for more than a month now, i love the dual screens that i bought. The resolution is really good, the size is perfectly fit my desk. But please read carefully, this screen don't have HDMI. So if you're looking for HDMI this is not the one that you looking for. Anyway great product and great deal for 27 inches screen

This monitor is great, but I want to set the record straight about a couple of things. Firstly, this is an LED monitor. It says LCD on the description on amazon, but it's LED. Secondly, it seems some people might be confused about this monitor's features. It does not come with any HDMI ports, and it outputs no sound. You need speakers. It's a monitor, not a TV, and it's meant for use with computers. The thing is, you should take any reviews by customers who give this product a bad score ONLY for this reason with a grain of salt. They didn't look up the specs, and that's their own fault. It states CLEARLY and specifically "no HDMI". I mention it in this review just in case some people might miss that important piece of info, but it is definitely in there for you. Don't give a good product a bad score because you couldn't take the time to read if it has what you need or not. I admit it seems odd that in 2015 ANY monitor wouldn't have any HDMI-in ports when most computers have HDMI output either via the motherboard or graphics card, but computers will also have outputs for the ports on this monitor; DVI/D-Sub. This is not for use with consoles, unless you have an adapter to covert HDMI to DVI. You can get one of those on Amazon for about as much as an HDMI cable, and it's something that you'll actually need rather than an HDMI cable. The monitor also comes with one DVI cable and one D-Sub cable The reason I bring this up is because amazon is suggesting the purchase of an HDMI cable with this monitor because they're apparently frequently purchased together, which is hilarious. 4/5 stars for this product because the blacks aren't very deep and the stand is a little too wobbly for a monitor that is this thin and light, but this monitor is extremely thin and light. It has a super thin bezel and sharp 1080p display at 60Hz, which means if you're looking for 1440p or 4K, or playing games at higher than 60fps this isn't the monitor for you. The 6ms response time isn't the best compared to other monitors, but this isn't a pro gaming monitor, and it's a way better response time than what you'd get on a TV. It's a fantastic product, it suits my needs just fine, and I would suggest it to anyone who could use it, but you should know what you're getting into just in case no HDMI ports and no built-in speakers are deal breakers for you.

In a word: Stunning. Super bright screen. Vivid colors. Smooth movie watching. Not a dead pixel to be seen. Bought this flat screen during lunch time Amazon surfing. The price I paid for this 27' screen made me think it was a misprint. A quick comparison of other web sites & nobody came close. $10.00 next day shipping sealed the deal - I clicked the mouse. Arrived next day & was hooked up within 5-10 minutes. As others have already said you need to back down the brightness from factory pre-set level of 98 to whatever you find comfortable. (56 works for me). The unit I received allows front/back comfort tilting and the stand is plenty sturdy sitting on an adult's desk (Really; once your viewing angle is adjusted - how often do you touch your monitor again?) My monitor came with a VGA and a DVI input - no HDMI jack. I'm using my original Belkin VGA cable. Haven't experienced any power supply high pitched whine as others complained about. Mine came with a power brick. This is a computer monitor and not a flat screen TV so I wasn't expecting built-in speakers (there aren't any). On a scale of zero to ten - this is a solid nine. Any complaints are from folks wanting Mercedes performance at Chevy prices. I'm a happy camper with this purchase. An easy recommend to others.

I was looking for a new monitor for my desktop computer. I had previously purchased Acer products and liked them, so I decided to get this one. Very simple design, yet has everything I need. I like the narrow bezel. Besides looking far better than a monitor with a wide bezel, it takes up less desk space yet gives the large screen advantage that I want. The screen actually takes up less space than my old 24" monitor. It's lightweight, which is great for me since occasionally I need to move it around, particularly when cleaning my desk top. The shape of the base gives me more usable space on my desk. The controls are convenient. I particularly like the on/off button, which is conveniently located below the bottom right of the bezel and unobtrusively gives off a soft blue glow. Unlike the membrane buttons, this on/off button has texture and substance, which makes it much easier to find when turning the monitor on. The colors are vibrant and natural - no hazy yellowish or grayish cast - easy on my aging eyes. Acer certainly held its high reputation in my opinion.

Es un monitor estándar sin nada que lo haga sobresaliente, pero el precio es bueno. Le daría una calificación más alta de no ser por lo tardado que es encenderlo: tarda como 8 segundos en tomar la imagen de la PC porque primero muestra los logotipos de Acer y de Energy Star y eso toma una eternidad. ¡A veces la propia PC enciende más rápido que el monitor!. Estoy acostumbrado a apagar los monitores si me aparto de la PC unos pocos minutos, pero con este modelo prefiero dejarlo siempre encendido de lo tardado que es volver a prenderlo. Acer debería proveer algún tipo de actualización que corrija este molesto problema, pero prefieren hacerle publicidad a su marca cada vez que uno prende el dispositivo.
