Concentrically challenged.
The media could not be loaded. Maybe poor transit handling. Maybe it slipped past Q.C.. Anyway, should be okay for well supported vertical arrangements until failure. Perhaps, the addition of gears properly aligned in your custom gearbox could pick up some slack. Otherwise, it's on you. Go kick butt and good luck out there!

Torque Too Much to Turn with Gears
The generator turns by hand with a little resistance. Unfortunately that resistance proves too much once the 4 gears are attached. The torque needed to turn the generator with the gears is greater than my efforts of about 30 pounds. Didn’t even budge. So theoretically the generator might be able to produce 12v, but this gear set up doesn’t do it. Before posting this I contacted the seller and did not hear back.

Dead on arrival.Also, the gears appear to be made of lead and shedding lots.
