**Q: Are these brackets for use with single or double slot rails?**
A: Single slotted rails.

**Q: What size shelving board will it hold?**
A: A 12" bracket has 12-1/8" clearance for a full 12" board depth.

**Q: Is this really a package of 10 brackets?  One reviewer said there was only one.**
A: My purchase last year was 10 pieces. The listing says 10 and that is what I received. Each listing should be read completely. They can be bought in different sized lots.

**Q: Can these brackets be used with John sterling standards?**
A: KV is the standard of the industry.  Search compatibility and get rid of the "John Sterling standards" if they do not match.  I have been using KV standards, thousands of them industrially, would not use anyone else, but many others brands use the same standard.

I have been using for 3 decades, and they still make the same product of the same quality. I highly recommend this product line and Knape & Vogt products in general The Amazon suppliers have good prices on retail quantities. The selection is reasonable, but they don't have everything in the KV shelf bracket line. I have seen the brackets are available in Mill finish, (metal) white and Bronze. Not all distributors offer all colors, and there may be other colors that I don't know about. Also keep in mind that there are a couple of weight rating grades to the KV wall bracket systems, and the wall standards have to be matched to the brackets. (not interchangeable). All in all this is an excellent quality wall bracket system that I highly recommend for value and utility. I and have thousand of their components in my little warehouse.
