Allegro Coffee Mocha Java Ground Coffee, 12 oz

I've been drinking the Allegro Mocha Java coffee for years. It used to be sold at Whole Foods, but they discontinued it. I can drink it black, so it is not too strong. I also use it to make cafe au lait with a touch of cinnamon. BTW - it does not taste like mocha. You can buy mocha java coffee other places, but I keep ordering this one.

Like many said, not what I expected. Do not expect a chocolate or traditional mocha flavor. It does have a very fruity/berry flavor. Not a bad flavor, just not what I was looking for. Perhaps I don't know enough about coffee to know what this is supposed to be and it may be a good representation of what it is, just not what I expected.

This coffee is very good in an aeropress. 4 minute steep on 16 grams of coffee is super good.

This was good coffee, but the flavor was a bit underwhelming. The package says flavored with brown sugar, roasted nuts, and dark chocolate, but I couldn't taste any of these. If I thought long and hard about this coffee while I was drinking it, I might have been able to catch a very slight hint of dark chocolate. Overall it was decent coffee but nothing to write home about and especially not worth $12.00 per 12 oz.

Love this coffee. It is hard to find Mocha Java! The code has a wonderfully smooth flavor like nothing else on the market. It is rather expensive though, but I serve it as a special treat. Mocha suggests chocolate but it isn't. It is the name given to the type of beans. It is just a wonderfully smooth silky coffee. The ground variety is the best over the whole bean which has so much more flavor. But it's hard to always know how get either one consistent. Amazon sells pods, but they are very expensive. I may try them some day.

Allegro coffee is the only one we drink. Very low acidity unlike other coffees. Delicious and doesn’t bother our stomachs like other brands do.
