Aquagel Lubricating Gel - 1/2 Gallon with Pump

Very glad I bought this dispenser. I usually buy the 5 ounce tubes of Aquagel for my husband to use for self-cathing, but I think this dispenser is even a better way to buy the gel. And the dispenser is much easier for his hands to use rather than squeezing from the tube. Very glad I bought this.

I asked the question whether this contains silicone and I think I found an answer on the web: yes, it does. What I found said this product contains "polymer," and silicone is a polymer. There are several different names for silicone used in ingredient lists. Also, since the product description says water-soluble, I think it probably is not water-based. I am not saying this is bad, but I believe it makes a difference based on what you are using this gel for. When my doctor recommended a gel, she said water-based.

This is used for a chronic health condition. My only complaint is that as with most pump bottle products, you can not pump out about the last 1/6 of the product.

I love this product. I use it to make enemas for my client who has no other way to pass bm. I can work to make this product the exact needed consistency with hot water. Much better and less expensive than any other name brand lubricants. We are grateful for this product.

A little sticky, but well worth the price.

Dries out extremely fast. I figured that ordering larger amounts would be more cost effective... Not so much. Probably best to do something like KY Jelly. That product requires less, and dries at a much slower rate.

My order for the Aquagel was processed quickly and without a problem. I appreciate it.
