Be very careful buying this . The red powder is permanent. A callto the distributor confirmed that the red powder may never fade.I did not see this in the info for the product.

This should last a lifetime, easy to fill, easy to use and lays down a good line.

Ugh. I didn't realize there were "permanent" chalk options. This one is permanent, so make sure you get the right one. To add insult to injury, I accidentally ordered two of the wrong ones.Other than paying a price to learn something, this does appear to be a pretty nice tool. It winds fairly smoothly and accurately and has a large enough door to get the chalk in. I guess I'll just buy some non-permanent chalk to use in the second one.Good quality at the price.
