## Description

Aqua Mix Sealer and Coating Remover is a non-flammable, multi-purpose stripper formulated to stay wet longer; which gives the product time to remove most sealers, epoxy grout haze, urethane coatings, synthetic finishes, adhesives, and paints. Also dissolves deep-set stains and removes heavy grease buildup.

Review: Good for acrylic polymer - Finally. Something that removes acrylic polymer sealer from tile. My tile was sealed about 8 years ago and the acrylic sealer did a good job for about 6 years, but then started to soften and discolor. It became a dirt magnet, and I had tried four other products trying to remove it. So far the only thing that worked was Quik Strip, but that required a solvent to clean up and smelled awful. I kept looking for a water based stripper and finally found this product. A small amount goes a long way, the product is a very viscous gel that spreads easily. Read the directions and work in small areas at a time. The directions said to leave the product on for an hour, but it only took ten minutes to remove multiple layers of acrylic polymer from my tile. Was easy to clean up by spraying with a bit of water and then wiping with an old towel. After that, I steam mopped and all the residue was gone. There is some odor, but not overwhelming. Easy to manage with a fan or just an open window. Would definitely but again.
Review: Works slowly but prepare for the horrible smell and found something MUCH easier! - Read lower for an easier solution! So I sealed my grout and didn't wipe off access as I worked resulting in grout sealer drying on tile near grout lines. What to do- tried scrubbing, Oxi clean, and all cleaning agents. Nothing. Search to find this item. It took a VERY long time~5-6 hrs to do on my 600 ft^2 area. It smelled horrible even with charcoal mask on and I had all windows and doors open. It did work but missed some areas bc it was dark. I had to wash the floor three times. The directions not that clear What worked 1) spread a thin film spreading with heavy duty glove or sponge 2) wait 15 min 3) scrub with blue nylon brush 4) wipe off excess 5) wash floor with soapy water 6) wash again and let dry 7) mine needed a 3rd wash to help dissipate the smell 8) put small bowls with small amount of pet odor absorbing spray to help absorb the horrible smell overnight (also works with paint smells) 9) takes 2 days to get rid of smell entirely 10) ReSeal after 48 hrs this time remembering to wipe off excess I found a better method that doesn't require resealibg! 1) buy Grill Stone ( yes the one for the grill also sold on desertcart or Lowe's) 2) wet dried sealer in tile just barley so it's d amp but not soaking wet 3) scrub with grill stone in circular motion (grill stone will get smaller) 4) sweet or vacuum up left over grill stone 5) wipe with damp microfiber or cotton towel 6) no sign of sealer and now you don't need to resell See pictures for actual results. This would have saved me hours!

**Q: Is this a gel?**
A: It's a very thick coating, sort of between a glue and gel consistency.

**Q: Contractor left black grout and haze all over the Black galaxy granite. Is this good?**
A: My only experience with Aqua Mix Sealer and Coating Remover was in removing the sealer which I had put on top of the grout. Unfortunately for me, when I applied the sealer I got a good bit on the tiles. I didn't have a lot of hope it could be removed, but I was pleasantly surprised that the Aqua product did a fantastic job of cleaning the sealer off.

**Q: Will this work on removing sealant on pool coping?**
A: It did not remove the sealant on my drive way. Perhaps it will do the job on pool coping. Just try it, it is not expensive compared to similar products.

**Q: Does this product remove gloss tile sealer off slate**
A: I used it to remove tile sealer on brick. It was very effective but must do small section at a time!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Removed all the excess grout sealer

I used this product on my pool hot tub. It has mosaic tiles. It was recently retiled. They put a coating of sealant over the whole surface. Eventually it started peeling off and looked ugly. I initially used a wire brush to get rid of it. But didn’t remove it all. This product is great and easy to apply It works as advertised. It removed all the grout sealer which had bubbled up with minimum effort.
