I have used it on stainless steel, cast iron, and clay molds all successfully.

what is the max temperature of this item. Has it been used in aluminum foundaries?

I use this product for glass only. My highest temp is 1800. I know it will go higher; but, I do not know the limit. I use this product to slump on metal molds.
