Yes, they're stretchy but way too tight - not something pregnant women generally look for in clothing. So if you do purchase, be sure to go a size up from what you think you need. Also note that the belly band part is very short and falls awkwardly right around your belly button - THE most uncomfortable place for pants to sit when pregnant, in my opinion. And the band is too small to be effectively folded down, like you can do with standard maternity pant bands when you don't like the compression.
