Happy Customer
This is a no-nonsense gauge that is highly accurate and very easy to use. The fitting is deep so you don't end up letting air out when you go to check the pressure. Highly recommend!

Looks good. Works good sometimes
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I can check two tires and it works fine, then I'll go to the next tire and it won't read, or reads randomly. The air release is spotty at best. It doesn't always release the air when you push it in. I've replaced the battery a couple of times, and it makes no difference. For what it cost, it should be a good tool, but it's just another Chinese made POS. Really disappointing. EDIT: I called Longacre and talked to their tech rep. He said that the angled chuck that they ship these with is problematic. I put on the ball chuck that is packed with the gauge and will give is another try. Fingers crossed it will be better.

Digital Tire Gauges - Including Longacre's Basic Digital - tend to read High - Keep that in mind!
I recently forayed into the world of digital tire gauges at the mid-tier price point - US$30 & up. At this level you should have air bleed capability, accuracy to within plus-minus 1PSI(4-6kpa), and repeatability of a reading. The Longacre Racing Basic Digital Tire Gauge #53006 is capable of all that, and reads Bars and Kilopascals as well, from 0-60PSI. Accuracy: Next to my local garage's Astro AI digital tire filler gauge, and all of my other digital and dial analog gauges, it does read almost one PSI higher - but consistently so. Keep that in mind when you bleed down to your target cold tire pressure. IE if your vehicle specifies 33psi cold pressure, set them to 34psi with this gauge, and you should be right at spec by most other kits. This should be easy to do, as the gauge resolves down to 0.2 psi. If it reads 34.8psi, just keep quickly pressing and releasing the bleeder valve on the neck of the dial faces until 34.6, 34.4, 34.2, 34.0 exactly. And on to the next tire. Just remember that with each press of the bleeder button, the indicated pressure may dip up to 1psi below present reading, then crawl back up to actual reading. That might take up to a second or two, so be patient - it's digital! 😆 Ease of Reading: This is Longacre Racing's 'entry level' digital tire gauge, and it shows: A small dial head, with small digits and no backlight. But: construction quality is there, from weight of the dial, solid rubber jacket, thick hose, and heavy metal chuck. Ease of Use: Pretty straightforward: The chuck is as deep and well-built as the one on my Longacre Deluxe 0-60psi analog dial gauge- probably the same part, and both Longacre kits come with easy to swap out ball-style chuck. The bleeder button on the digital LA bleeds a bit faster than on the analog LA, so consider that when bleeding down your tires, that you don't underinflate to lower than your target pressure! Been there, done that! Lol Aside from the high reading, it competes well with my DIYCO Elite Pro 0-200psi digital tire gauge, which resolves down to 0.1(one tenth) vs 0.2psi. Both more than precise enough for daily drivers to set their cold pressures evenly and exactly, and not have to worry for weeks before adjusting again. And to repeat from my other Longacre review: The pressure on your tires is a MAXIMUM COLD pressure, not the ideal/recommended pressure, as determined by your carmaker and listed on your vehicle's door placard. Set your tires closer to your door Pressure than to your tire's maximum, and you will be able to experience your vehicle's optimum ride and handling characteristics. Longacre's Basic Digital tire pressure gauge will get you there, with accuracy long ago reserved for the ranks of NASCAR and F1 garages!

Well Built, Reliable, Convenient and Accurate Gauge
I am really happy with this reliable and accurate gauge. It reads to 0.2 psi, and I've found it to be quite consistent. The quick connect and disconnect valve connection seats well, with minimal air loss, and the hose allows me to hold the gauge and read the meter without having to get on my knees. I usually fill the tires a bit above the desired setting, then bleed them down, using the convenient bleed push button. The thick rubber cover on the gauge protects well from impact and abrasion, and I can lay it on the asphalt when necessary without risk of damage.

Very accurate and easy to use
I have previously noted that I am fanatical about keeping tire pressures accurate. Proper tire pressure is essential for good tread wear and safe driving. This pressure gauge assures that when I check and fill my tires I am hitting the target at every wheel. This may be a little pricey for some but for very particular drivers it is a worthy investment. The only downside would be storage; it is a little cumbersome for the glove compartment so look for an alternative location if you keep it in your vehicle.

Good tool to have in your garage!
Works on all tyres with a Schrader valve. It is easy to use and very simple to operate. It can be easily adjusted to change between various pressure scales (psi, bar etc). Easy to read digital display that can be zeroed by pressing the ON button for 3 secs. Easy accessible battery compartment. Gauge is encapsulated in a rubber casing to aid grip and protect damage if dropped etc. At the bottom of the guage it has a push button bleed valve to allow easy pressure adjustment which is a a good feature to have! I've used this on both my motorbike and my car. Invaluable to have on hand!

Best tire pressure gauge i've ever owned--well worth the money
Why didn't i buy this gauge years ago? It's refreshing to finally have an accurate gauge. Accuracy +/- .8% reading in increments of .2 PSI. The air-relief valve is a nice feature. It allows you to release air to achieve the desired pressure. The gauge is well made and from what i see so far i'm very pleased. For the money this is an outstanding value.

I bought this gauge several months ago. It proved to be useless due to the air chucks that came with the gauge not fitting the schrader valves on Bridgestone and Michelin tires on Honda CRV and Toyota Camry. While trying to check tire pressure, the air chucks heavily leaked the air making it impossible to check the reading. I bought this gauge because, as per reviews, it supposed to be one of the most precise gauges on the market. However, what precision we can talk about if it even cannot function properly !!! I contacted the manufacturer in order to get some help; however, they simply did not respond. Awful customer service indeed. The time window for return has expired; therefore, I am stuck with this useless gauge. Time and money wasted !!! I will look for some other gauge that may be "less accurate" but actually doing the job it supposed to do. No, I do not recommend this product.

I just receive my item and I am disappointed to see that it does not work. It may be just the battery, but I don't find it normal to get a dead battery on a new item. Especially when Longacre indicates 500 hours of battery life. It may be old stock... It would be appreciated to receive a new battery with the purchase of old stock. *** UPDATE*** 12-02-2019 When it arrived, the product did not work (the battery was dead). I had to buy and replace the battery inside. 2 months later, I come to use the gauge again, and it's not working. The new battery is dead. This is not normal. I also have a Loncrane 0-25 PSI for my Kart and I have never replaced the battery in 2 years. I believe that my 0-60 PSI gauge is defective and that it drains the batteries. Could you help me, please

Cheap Digital tire pressure gauges have a up to 2% to 4% margin of error....so....It's important to buy a gauge that reads as close to the tire pressure you will be using as 2% of 60PSI is much less than 2% of 200PSi...The Longacre 53006 Reads to .2 psi with .8% accuracy.... just saying...

After fiddling with a pen type gauge my entire life, I now see why many of my autocross friends use this brand. Very accurate and fine readings. Easy and quick to use with no leakage. Robust build, I think it will take a beating.
