I recently subscribed to Mango Boba tea for my daughter, starting with a 10-ounce size. Later, I noticed a 2.2-pound option and decided to switch to that. However, when the larger package arrived, I noticed significant differences. The packaging and color were different, and most importantly, so was the flavor. The smaller bag had a strong, vibrant mango taste that we loved. In contrast, the larger bag tasted more like milk tea with just a hint of mango. It didn’t match the smaller one’s delicious taste, which was disappointing. I regret mixing them in the same container, expecting them to be identical.

The jasmine bubble tea was amazing! We just tried it last night for the first time. I bought my daughter a Bubble Tea gift basket that I made up of a few different powders and Teas and everything you can think of to make a few different bubble teas: Glass straws, a tea kettle with an infuser, a few personal tea bottles with infusers and Boba Bubbles, ect... The Jasmine Bubble Tea is my daughter’s favorite and it was twice as much as the other brand I purchased of Taro bubble tea but like I read in recipes that I googled that there is different qualities of powders and this brand is definitely a higher quality than the taro brand, you could totally taste the difference! We drink a lot of bubble tea and I highly recommend this brand I definitely will purchase different flavors in the future from this brand because the jasmine pearls for making tea itself are very expensive and I was so pleasantly surprised to taste that quality / strength of Jasmine in the powder. It was totally worth the price and it is much cheaper to make at home than spending like $20 on a couple of Bubble Teas at the café so it pays for itself in one time and is a very high-quality powder !

This flavor powder definitely sated my thirst for taro milk tea, but unfortunately without being able to shake the tea, the powder didn't really dissolve completely and left some grit in the bottom of my cup. Price-wise I'd say this is less of a value than buying the flavor syrups by the gallon, because it takes SO MUCH powder to get the right flavor. It's cheaper to settle with the non-milk tea and just wait until you can buy milk tea at a bubble tea shop. Other than that, the flavor was spot-on for what I was used to from Bubble Bubble in Portland. I saw other reviewers say that the flavor wasn't right, but I think it might've been because they were mixing it with water and not with tea. The best way to make this is to mix it into iced jasmine green tea, which is what the bubble tea shops use for their green tea base. If you want black tea, use assam black tea.

Follow the instructions on the package, 2 Tablespoons per four ounces of liquid and then adjust to your preference. I mix the melon powder with black milk tea powder and dissolved in hot water. Then I add in cold water and shake with ice, pour into a serving cup with tapioca pearls and *poof*, yumminess. From this company I have tried: melon, mango, lychee and strawberry. So far, melon and lychee are my favorites. The mango is good but the strawberry was a bit sweet for me (to get enough of the strawberry flavor it seemed sweeter than strawberry milk)

I’m not sure what brand my bubble tea shop uses but theirs has a stronger melon flavor. I was somewhat disappointed after reading the reviews saying, “it tastes just like the bubble tea shop version!” I tried it 2 different ways, 1 with milk and 1 with water, but neither one tasted quite right. I added another scoop of powder, it called for 2+ for 1 cup liquid, but it was still very weak and I’m missing that floral melon flavor that made me fall in love with bubble tea to start with. I added ANOTHER scoop of powder and started to taste a very candy like tasting honeydew melon, not quite the same but still good. I used 4 scoops for 1 cup liquid in order to get a “similar” bubble tea shop flavor. Also, water alone tasted very diluted and the milk was waaay to heavy cream or half and half tasting. I tried mixing the water mixture and the milk mixture together, now there is 8 scoops powder to 2 cups liquid, and it tasted much better! Unfortunately, at just under $12 for 10 oz im not saving any money and I don’t like the tea as much as I like my Local Bubble shops tea. I’ll play around with this powder and see if I can do anything with it, maybe flavor fondant or icings!

I love getting boba but nowadays everything is so expensive so I like to be able to cut costs and that means less boba… not anymore because of this! I ended up ordering two flavors (taro and honeydew) and they are both very good. This boba tastes very good with milk, you can do water but I think milk tastes better! The packaging is cute and the instructions are simple, sometimes I add more if I want but you will figure out how much you like the more you make it, luckily I feel like you will get a lot of uses out of this so you will have plenty of time to experiment and find out what’s perfect for you! I highly recommend using a milk frother and following the instructions and mixing a little in a bit of milk then adding the rest of the milk, it mixes better this way. I will buy from this company again!

This powder is very good and has a nice flavor to it. By no means would I call this flavor ''nasty''. The problem is I was looking for a bubble gum flavor but this brand couldn't pull off the right flavor. They market the flavor as ''strawberry bubble gum''. Well it taste good, but it's more of a strawberry milk type flavor. I will still use this powder as I like the flavor a lot and plan to make smoothies and bubble tea with it. I will have to keep looking for something that taste like actual bubble. If your looking for a bubble gum powder, please look else where. I can't recommend this product simply because many who purchase it are expecting ''bubble gum'' not strawberry. The other good reviews are likely customers who tried it and liked the flavor (same as me) however they fail to recognize that this isn't what we wanted. Take my word for it, Save yourself $10 and try another brand for this flavor!
