A couple of comments:POINT ONE: While shopping for these, I noted that some other manufacturers use "non standard" sizes for the screws that come into the adapter from the sides. This can be a problem if you are trying to install these in a tool-less hard drive enclosure, which will obviously use the same diameter and pitch which is standard for 3.5 inch drives. Rest assured that this unit uses the same screws as a hard drive would, and worked perfectly for my internal hard drive rack, as the pics illustrate. Which brings me to. . .POINT TWO: At first, the mounting screws needed for my internal HD rack would not thread into the holes in the adapter, and I thought I had been foiled. When I carefully looked at the mounting screws provided with the kit, I noted that they were not "normal" straight cut machine screws, but that they were tapered. This made me realize that the tapered screws were needed to cut through the blue coating, which also covers the threads in the mounting holes. Therefore, if you are using screws other than those provided, you must first use the tapered screws to "chase" the threads, as you might do with a tap. After this has been done, the coating is cut away from the threads, and my special hardware for my internal tool-free HD rack threaded in easily.TL:DR - great quality pieces at a great price. I read a few other reviews that indicated issues with screw hole alignment, and I can see that using some screw-less quick mounts may be an issue.
