Good ride and handling on 70 Monte Carlo

Very pleased and great shock for the money on my 68 SS ElCamino
Only 3 stars on “install” due to having to use my cut off wheel to trim the ears to sit flush in the spring bucket. Other than that, easy install overall. Great shock/performance so far and very pleased. Read reviews before purchasing where some people said they had seals blown out immediately but it’s been several months so far with them on my car and I’ve haven’t had any trouble.

Great, firm gas shocks
Replaced the old beat up shocks on my 1979 Chevrolet El Camino with these and it's night and day. They eliminated a huge amount of the car's body roll. My one complaint was with Amazon. Originally they sent me a broken and obviously used part with the box open and parts rattling around. The replacement they sent was undamaged, but strangely dirty and had surface rust spots. Amazon is good on price for these, but if you don't want to gamble you might consider ordering them from elsewhere.

Really nice on the 82 ElCam
Love these shocks. I put a set on my 94 Vette and was so impressed I put a set on the front of my 82 El Camino. Love them. They give just a bit of a stiff ride, which I call the Vette ride, over the stock soft shocks. The price is awesome.

These shocks make my chevelles front suspension ride too firm for my taste. They may be a little long? I should have picked the kyb gas charged shocks, over the mono tube design. I read that they offer a smoother ride over the mono tubes.

Perfect fit
This were an exact fit to my 83 el Camino, just unbolt the old ones and bolt the new ones, totally worth the money

Great looking front shocks, came with new nuts, had to reuse the original lower bolts in the control arms. Quick rebound and firmer smoother ride than the old worn OEM type I replaced for these. Installed on 87 G Body. Great upgrade for the price.

These shocks come without the proper mounting clips for the bottom bolts,don't fit at the bottom as the part you screw the bolts into is wider than the OEM shocks,somyou have to cut them down. Very hard to get them to fit. The only saving grace is they were cheap,so I guess you get what you pay for. Installed on a 1968 Chevelle.
