ECO-WORTHY Solar Fountain Water Pump Kit, 124 GPH Brushless Submersible Powered Pump with 5 W Solar Panel for Bird Bath, Small Pond, Garden Decoration, Pool, Patio, Lawn……

Bought this for a small water feature for the garden. So far working fine, and contrary to what I expected, still works even with moderate cloud. I wanted to put it in a shady spot, so bought an extension cord, and installed the panel on top of my toolshed. A flagpole mount was very handy for this, but check the size carefully. A lot of leaves and flower petals fall into the water, so I placed a net over the pump and some tiles to hold it in place, to prevent clogging. I can disconnect the extension cord if necessary for cleaning without having to get up on my shed. (A switch somewhere along the cable would be handy for this, but no big deal). So far very happy with the effect, and thinking of adding some killifish and/or water snails or something to keep the water from getting too green.

I purchased this product to replace a pump that failed after several years. It took quite a period of time to set up the fountain in our area because of the weather. Mother nature wasn't cooperative. My wife and I finally got to work in our garden and set up the shower. Installed this pump and it really worked beautifully. We are extremely pleased and plan to purchase another to have on hand for a spare or maybe another project. Time will tell. I want to apologize for the long delay in the approval of the pump but it works great!! My wife thanks you very much and I made all kinds of points with her. Thanks!!

I installed this pump in my small pond and it stopped working within 3 months. I reached out to the company to see if they would help after my husband & I cleaned out the entire pond, troubleshooted, and still couldn't get it to work. That was about a month ago. The pond is suffering and all of my pond plants will need to be replaced, but the company stopped responding after I gave them our address to mail a replacement.Terrible value for the money! Buyer beware!

Out of the three types of solar units I've tried to use in my fountain; This is--by far-- the best one.It's 5 Watt panel is large enough to fully power the pump (when installed in direct sunlight); And that power hasn't become reduced by my adding 32 feet of "OEM" extension cords, to it's original cable.The spray level produced by the pump reaches from 18" to 24", above standing water level; And vinyl tubing can easily be used to replace the rigid extenders provided with this system--if it's going to become installed in a deep water basin. (Which is something that I've already done).Personal "Hack",Because I wanted to be able to easily relocate this unit's solar panel--within my yard's constantly changing "Sunny" locations: I've now set it onto a 48" tall, "Instant Fence" post.That black metal post comes with removable anchoring "fins"; Which are the only bit of it that'll need to become purchased (and installed) again--to create a portable solar panel installation.Caveat: All "Instant Fence" posts come with round finials, welded onto their tops.(But two minutes worth of quick hacksaw work, will easily remove their project interference).

Looking at past orders as I figure out a new pump to buy, I realize I bought this one a year ago. It worked great for a year, had a nice amount of water flow, long enough cord to put the solar panel on top of a nearby trellis, and so on. But now, when the solar panel gets shaded by a tree, the pump does not restart when the sun is back on it. I have to unplug the pump from the panel and plug it back in to reboot the pump. Happens multiple times a day. The previous pump I had, from a different maker, lasted 5 years with no problems. So I am giving this 3 stars for lasting 1 year.

This moves the water in our lily pond enough to aerate it properly, unlike some others we have tried. Just what we needed to help get the pond clearer and more oxygenated for the plants.It was super easy to put together and install.The ONLY thing I would say against it is its slight lack of stability. We fixed it to a rock in the bottom of the pond for added stability, since the suction cups provided would not seem to stick enough to keep the pump from tipping over the moment water begins to go through it. Problem solved. Still deserves five stars in my opinion :)

Nice while it worked. Lasted about three months.

I have had this installed in the nightmare small pond type thing I dug in the yard for several days now. This is the only thing that has worked perfect so it brings me comfort when I go out to check on the pond/fountain and see it is doing it's job well. It worked like a charm the second I plugged it up and is still doing a fantastic job. It was very simple to set up. I first got the instructions out and then after looking at the unit a few minutes it was self explanatory. Simple to set up and it's working like a charm.
