Spray pressure is great and adjustable. No filtering that I am aware of and there isn't a water flow inhibitor to remove. Solid purchase.
Review: This thing is the bomb - This shower head is great. I bought it to replace a Kohler K-11742 head that was about 15 years old and despite being soaked in vinegar about once a year to remove calcium build up was giving up the ghost. That head has a simple single spray pattern and also has a 2.5 gpm flow restrictor built in which can't be removed without tearing it up. It is also made of some kind of hard plastic , unlike the old Kohlers which were solid metal. This new head is heavier. It appears to be solid brass and excellent quality. It also has the simple one spray pattern I was looking for. Since it has no flow restrictor it puts out water like crazy. Wow. I can rinse shampoo out of my hair in a few seconds verses about a minute with the old one. I used to have to wait 30-40 seconds to get hot water to show up but now it is just a few seconds. But our water pressure (75 psi) is too high to start with because we are at the end of the line on a cul-de-sac in a down-hill location and this new head, delightful as it is, was using too much water . So I ended up buying a set of flow restrictors here on desertcart (12 of three different rates, for under $5) and tried all 3 and went with the one that saved water AND gave the best performance. I really like that with this shower head I make the decision to use a flow restrictor, and if so how much restriction to use, instead of somebody making the decision for me and forcing it on me. Very happy with this purchase.

**Q: removeable restrictor?**
A: No restrictor to remove,   Gives very high volume of water, like a fire hose.  I love it.

**Q: How is the pressure of this compared to the Delta's?  Like say the 52650-PK?**
A: The pressure, or water flow, on this shower head is better than anything I've had. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a flow regulator like many others on the market. You actually get a shower instead of getting trickled on.

**Q: Are there any plastic components?**
A: on the washer is plastic as expected.  Its a great shower head

**Q: Since this shower head uses g 1/2 thread, does it require an adapter to fit on a standard  (usa)  1/2" shower arm? as is, will it damage npt threads?**
A: wow I did not know this. my house was built the 1980's and the shower head screwed right on nice and smooth with no leaks.  i did not even consider the thread size. so my answer to you would be, no

This shower head is great. Love,love,love! I know this is a pretty basic showerhead, and it doesn’t need all the bells and whistles but this thing is fantastic. It has increased the water pressure so much that it takes half the time now to rinse the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair. It just feels so good. We had a fancy oversized shower head before but the water barely came out. When I saw this one and read how it allows a stronger water flow I thought I would try it, especially since it was pretty and expensive. Wow, it feels amazing.
