Perfect Daily Lunchbox
I bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it. It fits everything he needs and more. Being in construction he needed something that was not only durable but would keep everything he needed in once place. Please keep in mind that this is not a cooler. Putting ice in it is not the most effective way to keep items cold. He uses freezable ice packs and it keep the cold in perfectly all day long. The fishing pole attachment is definitely a bonus and will be very useful when he goes on trips with his dad.

Great little cooler.
Used it for a week out fishing and it did great. It's a lightweight cooler so even when you add ice and some drinks or whatever it's still easy to manage. I just threw it over my shoulder with the supplied strap and took off. As much as I banged this thing around during my trip it still looks new. Hinges and latches work well and no signs of stress etc. The rod holders make it an even handier cooler. Great for a kayak if your rear well is big enough for it.

Does exactly as described
Only used it once so far but it's very sturdy, space efficient, holding my rods and my bait/tools, thus saving me space on my inflatable kayak. Worth spending double over a normal cooler that only can do one thing.

A must have for Hobie Kayak fisherman.
If you own a HOBIE Outback or Compass fishing kayak, then you need this cooler. The upright rod storage is the biggest reason to use this. It mounts behind the seat in seconds, with the existing bungee cords on the Hobie to hold it in place. I like this better than the Yak Attack crate that I also own. The Engel is lighter and more compact than the Yak Crate.

Great Kayak cooler
This works perfectly on my Hobie Mirage Passport. The color even matches. The built in rod holders work great for placing my different rods. No problems keeping things cold on a day trip, and that is all I am really asking of it. A few beers and my lunch keep plenty cool with an ice block.

Rock solid dry box
Perfect for my kayak, but have also used for road trips and it has been a great cooler too! Highly recommend!

but are too reasonable to light money on fire and buy a Yeti so you could get a cool sticker and post it on the back windshield
If youre looking to step up from a cooler you bought at walmart, but are too reasonable to light money on fire and buy a Yeti so you could get a cool sticker and post it on the back windshield of youre truck/car....this is the cooler for you. No, its not gonna hold ice all day just like the moment it is when you put the ice in...but it will keep enough ice, and hold a low enough temperature to keep your drinks cold all day. A yeti wont hold ice all day either btw...go to youtube and watch the comparissons. I hold 9 beer cans, and 6-8 dasani water bottles...and still have space on top for the tray. I use this on the back of my 10 foot kayak, but with only 2 of the rod holders. Its a pretty big piece of equipment once the rod holders are on it....but its worth it since now im carrying 4 rods around instead of 2...and I didnt have to screw any holes into my kayak, just buy this sweet cooler! Im in a small kayak so I havent used it as a seat....im 250 lbs tho, and I would be willing to try it. Since im so heavy its prolly not ideal...but if i was 180 and below...i think I would feel comfortable regularly sitting on it as a seat on my yak.

Good cooler / great dry box
I bought this cooler for my kayak and some picnicking with my family. It's a good small cooler for a day at a state park or on the lake for a while. Big enough for some beverages and some sandwiches. It's going to hold ice all day but that's about it. That's what I desire anyway. It's big enough for most of my day trips. In the future I would like to get the 30 quart for a little space but most of the time I like a small easy to carry cooler like this 19 quart. I like it.
