Attach positive from 12v battery to end terminal of the adapter and negative to one of the side metal brackets of the adapters. Easiest thing would be to attach a female cigarette adapter to the battery with a fuse and insert the light’s male adapter in. These female sockets with fuses are available on Amazon. Alternatively, you can cut the adapter out entirely and solder the light’s red and black wires to a switch; I did this and attached the lights to my son’s go kart. I did keep the fuse that comes inside the adapter and kept it inline with the supply positive connection, though. If you want to alternate light patterns, you need to reuse the button assembly or rig another switch that is connected to the white wire of the lights and has a resistor inline; I am unsure of the resistance needed but you can just measure or reuse the resistor attached to the button assembly. **Q: need this for a rave.. is there a way to convert it to a type I plug?** A: You can cut the plug off and attach the wires to any 12v DC power source directly or through any plug you want to attach. **Q: How many amps does this beacon pull?** A: It Says On The Packages. **Q: Is this more yellow or orange?** A: Orange. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best light I’ve used *by L***S on September 4, 2024* I bought a more exspensive 2 foot light it bc stopped working after 2 months . I don't do Weddings or Bah Mitzvahs, I mostly do outdoor events like car shows, backyard barbecues and parades from my show truck. I got (2) of these for my DJ gig bar. They help offer a different , unique way of doing things which is what I do. I was hoping they'd be bigger & brighter, but at least the magnet sticks well to the metal bar. In the video, they power ON to the Strobe pattern, then I switch it to Swirl And they only have those 2 patterns.
