These are advertised at 175a. a decent winch will pull more amps than that, and yet you advertise this as a "recovery winch". please explain.

I’m not an electrical engineer so take what I say with a grain of salt. But most off road winching won’t be pulling a high amount of amps for a prolonged period. I’m pretty sure this can handle well over 175 amps in short bursts and be okay. The problem is when you pull too many amps for too long of a period and overheat the connector. I’ve used this for my 12,000 lb winch and it hasn’t had any issues. Also, unless you're pulling at the max weight rating for the winch you likely aren’t drawing the max amps that the winch could draw.
