Not worth it.
Not that good. Lacks flavor and creaminess of good French butter. I’ve had better grocery store type butters, won’t order again.

If you're a french butter fan like me...
Tastes just like the butter I sneak home from Paris. Another reviewer said it tasted like parmesan which I was confused about but then realized they meant American Parmesan cheese. Real Parmegiano Reggiano is much more assertive in flavor. Real cultured butter does have a faint cheesy flavor (think artificial movie theater popcorn flavor) but if you're used to the plastic flavored butters of the US which taste like nothing then this will be a bit of a surprise. If you are a fan of real cultured butter found in much of Europe then this is it. All you need is a little smear to impart amazing flavor to your toast or anything else. I missed toast with butter and jam in the morning and after trying all the butters here (yes even organic, grass fed etc) I gave up and ordered this from Amazon. The can is perfect because I live in Hawaii, no need for refrigeration during transport. It's expensive but how much butter does one really eat?

We Did Not Like This Butter
As some folks pointed out, this is not for everyone. It was pretty pricey and we were surprised at how awful it tasted to us and ended up throwing it out. It comes in a can with a pull tab so already it has a processed feel to it. We put it on some fresh baked baguettes and the bread couldn’t mask the weird after taste.

Wish it were Unsalted--Slightly Better than American
I wish I could get it unsalted, but for the Gundry M.D. diet, this is the least expensive butter from France that I have found. It tastes good too. My husband doesn't notice any taste difference, but I think this is just a hint better on a plantain pancake than American butter.

Awful - tastes like Parmesan cheese.
I was really excited to get some French butter - When this showed up I made a fresh baguette and popped the can open to smear some on. I was very disappointed, the flavor tastes like a very light butter heavily mixed with parmesan cheese, so much so that you assumed that you were eating some kind of parmesan cheese spread. It was terrible. I will not buy it again.
