It's easy to store in progress paintings, and these boards have held up well. The corners do break away a bit but its pressed board and for what I use it for, it's not a huge deal.

I did not add a campitura/ground color but painted directly on the board as I was using acrylic gouache (code for acrylic paint that is matte). I loved the result on this board and would highly recommend as the price is great (even if you want or need to gesso first).
